Simply Awesome! These videos keep getting better. I will say that my tree falling skills were always lacking until I watched a few of these videos. Never could get a tree to cooperate. It finally came together last weekend when a friend of mine and myself went to get some firewood and had to drop a few trees. "I'm not in a hurry, I'm at Peace" came to mind several times. Thank you very much for your comment about wearing suspenders with your saddle. I was in a situation yesterday where the chainsaw kept pulling the saddle down. It was a big nuisance! If I had suspenders on it wouldn't have happened. Thanks again. I really appreciate your videos!

I have to say you do some of the best notches and back cuts and proper hinge wood compared to many other loggers. Take that from a retired OSHA inspector. Now make sure you wear all your PPE and get the hell away from those trees as they are falling other than that you're perfect you should be teaching people

Hey YOU! I have to say I've been going to the school of Buckin' Billy Ray. I tend to be somewhat prudence-impaired, and had cut down several trees while clearing a creek area on our new farm that had been neglected by the previous owners. Holy JAMOLEY but hard work is so freaking much FUN! I finally gave up on my girly battery powered saws which were serviceable for quite a while, but not enough. Went down to Issaquah Honda Kubota and asked for the biggest saw I could buy that didn't have the damn estrogen sensor that makes it just about impossible to work anything with a pull start. Bless their hearts, they taught me how to fire up a Stihl. I bent the heck out of two chains out of sheer ignorance (would have saved them with wedges on a downed maple). Just about killed my own silly ass when gravity and I didn't agree on how a tree should land. (Gravity won, but a standing tree kept me from getting smushed as the downed tree rolled.) So although I am well and truly capable of inventing new levels of stupid, I'm smart enough to go to school on YOU!!! I have to be alive to create our farm dedicated to our youngest daughter, Annabelle. She is rocking an extra chromosome (also called Down syndrome) which is just a little extra kiss from God.
