here are my thought's if the chest was connected to tree of harmony why did the castel not react when the tree was destroyed earlier?

By the time the tree itself was destroyed, the castle had already been built, so the spirit simply moved there instead, slowly spreading under the School of Friendship. It later also moved to the Treehouse when that was built
