One of your nutty cones dropping in to visit and hang out with my favorite people in pines. Hi Jenna and Ted, it's nice to see you today.This vid was both fun and entertaining. Ted never ceases to surprise me and make me laugh with all of his antics and funny stunts. Loved the fire starting lesson; he should consider presenting it to a local scout troup 😉 The spot you selected for the tent is fantastic. It's a perfect location with a nice view, yet secluded enough to feel like you are tucked away in pines, sheltered and private. God has provided stunning views and landscape on your property, and the snowfall amplified it's beauty! I am really looking forward to upcoming vlogs and following your work and progress on your latest adventure. Have a blessed week ahead my friends. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.

I also live in the Pines of South Carolina my pines are over 120 feet tall and you can’t even wrap your arms around them. Take it or leave it, but I would caution on building off any pine trees. I built my treehouse in between the trees, because my pine trees are getting the beetle kill and once they get it, they die quick also the dead branches that fall from some of them weigh over 100 pounds it would kill you. I would make sure the platforms have a good roof just for dead wood after it rains they get waterlogged and fall. Also, during windstorms the Pines bend so much and sometimes they snap. Only speaking from experience. Hopefully it all goes well love your Chanel.
@TheLiFeInPines10 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thanks so much for all of your feedback on this! Trust me- as the worrier of the family, I (Jenna) have thought of all these things. I also think about trees and branches falling on us whenever we tent camp! I think it’s one of those things- you’re going to run that risk no matter where you’re camping. That being said, we would love to put a roof structure over this platform area! All in due time. The treehouse will be a stick built structure so no worries there. I bet your Carolina pines are absolutely stunning!! 🌲 I hope the beetle kill isn’t too bad!
@evergreenacres10 ай бұрын
@@TheLiFeInPinesyeah I figured you had already thought of it. I am the same way. Are pines are right next to our house so we have to leave our house every time there is a bad storm. We just can’t afford to cut them down it’s about a hundred that need to go so they won’t hit our house. We have had some close calls one just grazed our house when it fell they are to big for me to handle on my own. They can be scary. For sure. Have fun you have a beautiful place
@TheLiFeInPines10 ай бұрын
We can completely relate! We had our whole property thinned, and they did take 99 trees (to be exact) from our “yard” area bc they were too close to the house. We were fortunate they just took all the lumber as payment so we didn’t have to pay out of pocket to get them cut down. I hope maybe that would be an option for you! That would be awful to have to leave your home every time it storms! 🥺
