Wisconsin - Insane accuracy and underwater citadel

You know, in the real world (remember that?) you most definitely do NOT want the citadel below the waterline, because penetrations above the citadel will admit water into the ship, water which will be ABOVE the center of buoyancy, reducing stability. Stability will be further reduced by the free surface effect of water sloshing around the decks above the citadel. This is, in fact, what happened to IJN Kirishima, in the Second Naval Battle of Guadalcanal: some 20 16-inch hits, most at or just above the waterline, admitted water above the armored deck. The combination of reduced metacentric height (GM) and free surface effect upset the ship's stability, so that she capsized very rapidly after the U.S. forced disengaged.

And if you look at the armor diagram of the Iowa class, you will see that the armored deck and the top of the main armored belt come together to form an armored box well ABOVE the ship's deep load waterline. Just saying.

@@StuartKoehl I guess you can still call those thick armor the citadel, because that's what the word literally means. It's just that the game's definition of citadel which is the hitbox of the ship's in-game critical area drifted away from the actual citadel, for better or for worse.

Why is the Wisconsin tier 10 when the Iowa is tier 9? They are the same ship class.

Same with Yamato and musashi Different stats change the ship. Wisconsins accuracy is way better and it gets an f key
