couldn’t agree more about the wall street comment, Started as a SDR in wall street at 17, account executive at 18, fucking hated the finance industry, Now i’m trying to get into tech sales

Great video Trent! Like I said in previous comments I just got an SDR job here in ATX at a similar sized company right out of college at 22! Everything this SDR said was true, you don’t even need much “sales” experience getting into a role like this. For example my background was Press Research for publication but I connected it to sales for my research into the customers before I reach out by email or cold call. Of course I also have a passion in technology but I’m definitely not the most technical guy ever LOL. Keep up the great work your videos have helped me so much in these beginning weeks @ the job!

Planning the end of my active duty Air Force career and I've been researching Tech Sales. I know that this is the right avenue for me. Already used to progressing the mission so this'll be right up my alley! Hopefully I can get a position in DTX.

Great video. Your videos are great but great add and to mix it up a Q&A with an SDR. I'm about to transition from customer service and into SDR sales tech so these do help

This video was a good insight from someone outside of the channel. He basically gave lots of little pointers so I'll mark the top three key takeaways points: 1) There are two kinds of people at work (First) the person who is there to collect the check, (Second) the person who is there to advance the company mission; 2) "Sales is Life." You don't really need "Sales" experience to land a sales job, you just need to be able to find and discuss all of the sales-related skills in your life experience; 3) You'd don't need to understand technology in order to work in tech sales, they will teach you everything that you need to know about the product and/or service.

Fantastic! I’m trying to apply to companies right now, but some of them are very uneasy about working remote. Does anyone here know who is willing to hire remote SDR’s with proven starter experience?
