The outfits the ladies are wearing are called salwar kameez. Men wear a plain version, women's are often embroidered or beaded and colorful. They are sold readymade or you can buy a set of materials "unstitched" and have one tailored for about $15-30, depending where you buy it.

In Australia we definitely have Fairy Floss and Corn Dogs which We Call Dagwood Dogs. Our Dagwood Dogs look slightly different there's usually some lumps and bumps in the Batter. We love it like that and to finish it off they'll dip it in Tomato Sauce. Tomato Sauce which has more of a Tomato taste a bit different from American Ketchup with it's heavy Spice Mix. We don't have Deep Fried Oreos. But some of our Takeaways sell Deep Fried Mars Bars which is A Chocolate Bar. Even though Oreos are American they are sold at our Supermarkets. For a reasonable price that most people can afford. Personally I don't find the idea of a Deep Fried Mars Bar appetising. I love Mars Bars and Oreos just as they are.

In that region, especially India and Pakistan, they have something called Jalebis. They are essentially funnel cakes drowned in syrup, so I'm sure they've had some sort of funnel cake. Elotes would be a good idea, but they have to be made right and fresh or they are disgusting.

In India we have jalebies that are somewhat similar to funnel cakes and bhutta which is very similar to elote. Won't be surprised if you found both in Pakistan.

The state fair I used to attend sold, amongst other things, foot-long corndogs, fried Oreo cookies, funnel cakes, fried dough, fried bubblegum, fried butter, fried Koolaid, and foot-tall soft serve cones. We love our fried fair food!

Great video! I'm from Texas and compete in food contests at the State Fair of Texas. So excited you highlighted my city. It's very affordable to attend, and there are a lot of things to see and do for free. I look forward to the Texas State Fair every September and October. The three most popular foods are 1) hot and crunchy footlong corndogs, 2) smoked turkey legs, and 3) belgian waffles covering in marinated strawberries and covered with whipped cream.

What a fantastic topic! I've been to many state and county fairs and I have never had fried Oreos. If you ever do a Part 2 of this, may I suggest funnel cakes? We have them in the midwestern United States with powdered sugar and they are so good. I live on the west coast now, and they are hard to find - instead the fairs sell things called "elephant ears" and "churros" - fried dough with cinnamon and sugar. I miss funnel cakes. Seriously, this is one of my favorite Reactistan videos in a while (if you don't include the gaming ones with GTA 5) - it brought out even more creativity and sense of wonder in the reactors than most videos I can remember. I was surprised at how much Mustafa loved cotton candy. The cotton candy fan was also a great idea.
