It's fine, Mehboob, I'm not a fan of chiles nogadas either. Rellenos are another matter, though. I think "mixed" has the same connotations as "processed." Somewhat like "converted into something which you cannot determine the individual parts of by tasting it." Most people prefer pozole with pork meat. There are people that do not like pork so they make it with chicken. I don't know that many people that eat pozole with turkey. The masa for the tamales seemed to dry. I am Mexican and many people, me included, don't like chile en nogada. I prefer chile relleno instead.

Tambien al pozole, algunas familias le agregan carne de res.

Muslims don't eat pork so it was best to do it with chicken since not many Hindus eat pork either but I don't think it's forbidden, only beef is forbidden to Hindus. Chicken is fine for either so Chicken was best choice for the meat.

@@arlaabrell8658 Exact. But in the case of Muslims, can they eat beef?

@@arlaabrell8658 I did not know that. Thank you for the information. An original recipe is not an original if it is not done that way. There is not way of anyone will know how the dish will taste if it is not done correctly, only that way will it be appreciated. Maybe give them recipes with foods that they are able to eat.

I love it when they speak the Spanish words, they actually pronounce it really good. Only "estaba", the accent is over the first A. So, it is pronounce "estAba" and not "Estaba".

I really wish we could have given them food straight from Mexico. The food looks good but it's not quite there yet. Otherwise, I loved this episode.
