I was 6 years old when my big brother put on a vhs of Van Halen Live Without a Net for me to watch in our living room. I was this chubby little fat kid, sitting on my feet in the middle of the room, watching the entire concert with my eyes soldered onto the screen in Eternal amazement. When King Edward played his guitar solo, I could not believe that the Creator of the Universe could bestow such a Powerful talent in one human being; and he was immeasurably more than that. Similar to how others grow up watching their favourite super hero’s reading comics, movies etc, I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to watch and witness on screen and in the flesh, the greatest guitar hero in the history of mankind. Eddie Van Halen is, and will Forever be my Guitar Superhero. Thank you Eddie, for being the greatest musical inspiration to me and my family. I still can’t believe you are gone and will hurt for a long time yet, but I’m hopeful to meet you one day in Eternity. God bless, and we love you... Eddie Van Halen Forever.
