Thanks crazywisdom2. It’s so nice to hear that there would be interest in an album. It’s not something I’m particularly pursuing, since I have no band 😊. So if I was to do it, it would be a very simple affair, with just me playing guitar, with no backing, a bit like my KZbin vids. But no plans at the moment, I’m just enjoying posting for KZbin. Cheers 😊

Paul.. in 70 years, I never learned music, never had a lesson. Honestly I shouldn't be watching these, you are too good for me to learn anything from. I only play by ear.. I have few regrets in my life, I think one for sure, is I wish I had taken lessons. I lived off grid, and barely on the grid, and alone for so many years, I just never got into a position to do it. Yeah I wish.... I wish I had. I envy your knowledge. Thanks for sharing it.

The Oswald awakens! Glorious tones abound, and could it be that this guitar has found it's amp? I'd say 'probably' and reserve further opinion until I hear it through the Marshall. Of course, the Cornell is my personal favourite amongst your amps so I am biased from the get go. Tonally here I just love that middle pickup. Now there's a statement you don't often hear about Strats. As 'clean' tones go this combo is pretty hard to beat. It might be nice to hear the Cornell and one of the other amps together, although it might be a bugger to record using your lovely simple set up. These 'Tricks of the Trade' have been really superb. I have already visited them more than once and will continue to do so until I have absorbed (STOLEN, if truth be known) as much as I can. It's the thought process as much as the dexterity that is so bloody impressive.

I love your new Oswald hardtail strat...I'd order one, but I'm not worthy. I have a really nice Nash strat already, the only strat I've ever bonded with, but Nash just buys bodies, necks, hardware, and pickups, then puts it all together - giving it his "magic" (many others do it now too). Oswald makes everything himself, yet sells them for about the same as Nash, when he should be asking 2-3 times as much. Nacho Banos sells his for more - there is one of his telecasters on Reverb for ~$5K. At that price, Oswald will get so backordered he'll never keep-up with demand. I understand he does it out of love, not to make money, but he should charge market value. He is like a Stradavarius (Stratavarius?). That hardtail of yours sounds so sweet, because your love for it makes you play your best, and you are a great player anyways. With a dad like you have, I can understand how you got into music and guitars - quite a collection he has! I never liked strats until 15 years ago, when I found my used Nash hanging on the wall at Guitar Crazy in Portland. Wish it was a hardtail - don't use the wang-bar much, but the trem-block does change the sound and adds sustain, although maybe not as "woody"? That strat of yours just sounds SO good, your love for it makes your playing shine. Love listening - cheers!

Paul, you've just confirmed that all Auld Reekie people are show offs hehe, fabulous tones and playing as always, good sounds from the old strat too. Now, for the weekly story. Fella comes home from work and his missus is standing in the hall wearing a very short negligee and nothing else, he says "oh yeah ! What's all this then ?", she says "happy birthday darling, you know how you've always wanted me to get a tattoo but i never fancied one, well I've finally got one just for you ", she turns round and and lifts up her negligee and she's got a W on each cheek, the husband explodes shouting " who the f.... is WW ?, she says "Don't be daft, when I bend over it spells WOW. Take care pal.
