Tried to Plasti Dip my G37 grill and failed!

you must remove the grill and spray it like 3 or 4 layer and then buy the plasti dip gloss fire to make it glossy

I did it and after one week went out a got black gloss spay paint and it came out perfect 👌 would try that to also did the same process for the rear spoiler

how did you spray it? all in one go? you have to do multiple coats. start very light and build up from there. i'm looking into spraying my g35 chrome grille with a gunmetal/silver/smoke color instead and was browsing vids. if you chrome had any damage, you should've sanded it down first before applying the dip. good thing it peels off lol

I decided to never plasti dip anything on the car again lol its a pain to remove it.

I havent given up yet but then again I havent removed the dip yet. Let's see how this works out.

@@Miamig37 How's it looking now? More coats is always better. If you decide to give it another go, try doing the first 4 coats as very light layers and then build up the next 4 coats. 8 coats total should give you better results, and it will be easier to remove
