Trifle

Can never go wrong with a classic trifle!
SPONGE
Sponge from super market- break into chunky pieces.
1 can of crushed pineapple (half the can will do for a bowl).
1 can or small jar of peaches (use the lot in the bowl).
Pour over however much passionfruit pulp you would like.
CUSTARD
In a cup add:
3 tbsp of powder
2 tbsp of sugar
2-3 tbsp of milk and mix until its smooth
Add to 1 litre of milk
And dont forget to add beated cream on top!
Just a side note- for christmas you can do individual jars of trifle if you really want to get fancy!

Kiaora koe whaea! Love your attitude. Our adult children are into ambrosia, I fail to understand why, but I'm for trifle not something floating around in whatever. I make my own passion fruit pulp otherwise they'd be all over the place. Thank you for your sense of humor too.

Yummo I’m in Australia I always put a cut up set jelly usually a port wine on the cake and fruit and put the cooled custard over that then cream and maybe a crushed flake. Just something different.

Looks delicious! We do have Edmonds custard powder in America but only at Fijian markets. What I can’t find anywhere is passion fruit pulp.
