Thanks again for all your videos! Walker’s shirt is awesome. You make it look so easy which sometimes it can be challenging. I trim my donkey’s feet and she has patience with me. I have my oldest daughter help me out too.

What good girls you have. You can tell a lot about a man seeing how his animals react to him.

What happens to them in the wild, no one trims them or shoes them?
@ryanforbes30212 жыл бұрын
They walk around and travel farther to feed. Rocks, hard pack etc. Keep their feet wore down in the wild
@RussWilson2 жыл бұрын
In' the wild they wear them down cause they travel longer distances in a day. However a lot of the wild mustangs that are gathered have really bad feet. Great Question!!

We have a guy that comes and trims the feet on our donkey for $20! He lives about 15 minutes away. He does his own horses feet and doesn't mind doing Charlie's feet. I've tried to pay him more but he wont take it. Our donkey stays with the cows and my kids ride him at times.

Why do you keep donkeys and mules?
@RussWilson2 жыл бұрын
Great Question, We have the mules and donkeys for a few different reasons.Our donkeys are saddle donkeys and sheep guardians, and we raise them to sell, The mule are saddle mules. We ride them and the donkeys around 1000 miles a year. I also usually have mule for training after its trained i'll sell it and train another one. Thanks for watching!!
