Natasha, I followed your recipe, added a bit of ginger, cinnamon and all spice and my guava cheese came out perfectly! This was my first time making guava cheese Thank You! Blessings Aplenty

Good morning. Before I come on KZbin I say I feel like eating some guava jelly with toast then I see this. My mother sent 2 bottles for I eat them in day that's how much I love guava jelly. The guava cheese look delicious

Your slices are so generous. 😍 I haven't had guava cheese since we had to cut down our tree. The commercial ones I see here are more sugar than guava.

I grew up making this , the skin is very good in it, to hold its firmness much better, you need to add 1 tsp of alum which helps it last longer. Blessings

Just watched this with my sister. Please note once you add butter to the process it is no longer vegan unless you specify vegan butter.

If I don’t have guavas handy, can I use the guava paste (that comes already package) and just add the sugar? What kind of cheese to use for this?

I saw another recipe wher it said to use 1cup of sugar to 1 cup of pulp. Also to add 1 tsp of lime juice.

This is my version I dont add lime juice it's not needed. The amount of sugar I used is enough for this recipe more will make it to sweet.

Powdered sugar is not as sweet as granulated sugar. Using 3 cups of granulated sugar might make it too sweet.

I can tell you that separating the seeds from pulp is very time consuming and the cooking process is labour intensive.. so I can understand the price behind it.

Why don't you just blend them on pulse for about 30 seconds and not too long so you can strain out the seeds and then cook the flesh
