6 green bananas
1 tomato chopped
1 tbsp. minced garlic
few pcs hot pepper
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 tbsp. mild curry
1 tbsp. green seasoning
few grains methi / fenugreek seeds
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
salt fish - optional

Nice Recipe 👍....Fig talkarie can also be made without the curry also, it tastes wonderful- we call it “white fig talkarie”....just heat the pot put some oil, add onions garlic and pepper, then throw in the fig add salt and water and let it cook down, you can also add saltfish for some extra flavor if u like.....TIP TO EASILY CLEAN THE FIG, i remember my parents used to do this, boil water and throw the entire green fig into the pot, let it simmer for a few mins, drain in a colander, then just peel off the skin, it comes right off very easily without the fig becoming mushy, then cut it up and its ready for cooking, much shorter prep time.

There is a easier way to clean it tho .just run over water and cut in the middle of the fig not to deep tho and just pull it off..very easy
