I know I’m a year late to commenting but this stitch is so pretty and it doesn’t take up a horde of yarn. I’ve desperately been searching for a stitch that looks beautiful but does not take up all my yarn because I’m making a blanket. The stitch is super easy for me to learn and for others too and it’s amazing. I normally make arigumini but I decided to start my new year off with a blanket and so far I have seven rows

This is gorgeous. The drape and hand of that gray piece at the beginning is luscious! I want to do a fingerless mitt in this stitch. I need to figure out how many to make my first chain so that the final will equal the length I need. So, pray for me! Lol.

Thanks so much for giving us a simple, but beautiful alternative to the star stitch! I love the way the star stitch looks, but it is not reversible, and I have never liked the way the wrong side looks. I just finished a full size blanket in three colors using your trinity stitch. It's a stunning looking blanket! This is one of the most beautiful blankets that I have done, and I have crocheted many, many blankets. This will always be one of the top 5 stitches for my blankets going forward. Thank-you and God bless.

This is such a wonderful little stitch (by "little" I mean, uncomplicated)! In my test swatch, I used a worsted weight with a 5mm hook - mostly because that's the hook I was using for something else whilst watching this video the first time through, LOL. After a few rows I realized: For very nice definition, I would need to work very loosely OR use a larger hook OR a lower weight yarn. This stitch is so doggone fast and easy that it is going to be fun trying it with different weights/hooks to see what effects I can come up with. For instance, for a very "fluid" fabric I would use looser stitches or lower weight (high definition) yarn to make shawls, light blankets, etc. BUT the versatility of this stitch is such that with a heavier weight yarn and tighter stitches, I can make a stiffer fabric that's great for totes and baskets. So, I am VERY HAPPY to add this to my "recipe book" of crochet stitches! Thank you SO much for such clear and concise instruction!
@katyb27933 жыл бұрын
I just discovered this too. I'm using 2 strands of 8ply (I think that's dk?) and a 5mm hook. I started crocheting looser and it looks better. But think I'll upsize my hook. Thanks for confirming my suspicions! I'm still newish to crochet so i wasn't confident I wasn't doing something wrong 😅

Apologies if this comes across negatively, your instructions are very concise! I just wanted to know if anyone else noticed that you have to really stay on top of your stitch count throughout this stitch. I've frogged and frogged and frogged this thing so much I'm ready to nickname it the frog stitch, lol. Definitely user error and not your fault though! I think I am just not mentally coherent enough to count this actively.

MARCO 🤣 🤣 🤣( LMAO)...BUT what if you want to make a new dish in this style an my dishcloths have between 22 to 26 stitches depending on the size of their hands. My dilemma is when u get to the end of row one I had 3 stitches left an i started with 22/24. So how would u work the. Last 3 stitches before turning your work for row 2
