Polish Lyrics: Z tamtej strony jeziora Stoi lipka zielona /A na tej lipce, na tej zielonieńkiej Trzej ptaszkowie śpiewają/ Nie byli to ptaszkowie Tylko trzej braciszkowie /Co się spierali o jedną dziewczynę Który ci ją dostanie/ Jeden mówi: "Tyś moja" Drugi mówi: "Jak Bóg da" /A trzeci mówi: "Moja najmilejsza, Czemu Tyś mi taka smutna?"/ Jakże nie mam smutna być? Za starego każą iść /Czasu niewiele, jeszcze dwie niedziele Mogę miły z Tobą być!/ Z tamtej strony jeziora Stoi lipka zielona

@@thomasdupont7186 Someone has translated it in one of the comments above, but here's my attempt anyway :) On the other side of the lake Stands a little green linden tree And on this tree, green little tree Three birds are singing But they weren't birds Only three brothers They fought over a girl About who is going to have her First one says: "You're mine" Second one says: "God willing" And the third one asks: "My dearest, Why are you so sad?" Why shouldn't I be sad? They're forcing me to marry the oldest one Not much time left, only two Sundays When we can still be together
@thomasdupont71864 жыл бұрын
@@kuba0butel yeah that almost what i gave, spécially regarding the three brothers all in love with the same girl. But it seems to me that this "little green linden tree » could be a symbol in their culture, idk may be it’s just there and doesn’t have a spécial meaning...
