Failure as an ingredient to success actually shook me a bit. That's exactly what I needed to remember today, so thank you for reminding me Ollie. Wishing you well.

I’m so excited for this video. I’ve been watching trip reports in preparation of eventually trying mushrooms myself, and I love seeing them from creators I already watch, like you and Ty Turner. Thanks man!

4:45 - my brain often- especially when exploring new places in nature for the first time or listening to music - does that without any drugs involved. My husband even said on our last hiking trip up to reflection lake near Mount Rainier „Come on! You slow all of us down! Walk a little faster, or are you overwhelmed with nature again?!“ It’s something I wasn’t really aware of until my early 20s... It’s just so much to take in, so many thoughts that pass you by, while being surrounded by forests and mountains which have been there for centuries and will still be there long after we die.

Just took my first dose of Psilocybin at 5 grams. Was an interesting trip, but I'm not depressed or emotionally troubled and that caused me to have a somewhat bad trip mainly because I got bored of the infinity and didn't have anything to work out.

I think that's definitely true, failure can definitely teach us a lot!! Very interesting things you say. I love nature so much, where you're at looks pretty. I can understand why those thoughts would cause anxiety, I myself have suffered much anxiety and depression in my life.(I was also a heavy drug user for quite some time cause I wanted to numb out all my feelings and "life") Whenever I get down on myself for my limitations, God is always there, whatever stage I'm in. He says to me"My strength is made perfect in weakness."

I just found your channel tonight. I'm not even sure if you're continuing to upload videos at this time. But I wanted to comment on this video. You did such an amazing job describing your trip on mushrooms. I've done them several times in my life and each time has been different. And each time has been very deep on some level. But the trip that you went on was so vast and profound and like I said you did an awesome job sharing your adventure. Thanks for this video.

Wonderful video, very insightful on your trip. So cool that you were able to rent out as beautiful a place as that, what a perfect setting. Hope you've been able to continue to apply those take-aways to your daily life! That's the hardest, and most important part. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome video. I'd thought about using shrooms or something similar before but had been hesitant. I like the idea of going into it with a thoughtful intent.

Hell yea! Taking some Cubensis was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my emotional health.

I got that same feeling about doing more. My last dose was 2 grams and, while I did get trippy visuals, it was very introspective, and led to me increasing my workload in school. I'm working up to 3.5 grams and I am optimistic that this medicine will be beneficial for my life.

Jordan Peterson talked about people doing mushrooms and how they could help. i remember lots of people in the 70s talking about how it helped a lot and put them in a good place

Thanks for this video. I’ve done shrooms before but sadly didn’t feel anything. I relate to your feelings of self doubt and dysphoria, and was thinking of doing the same thing to reflect on those things, or even microdosing instead of taking my meds which dont even work :/ Nonetheless this was really interesting

you are taking psychedelics seriously. that isn't taking drugs, hiding your feelings in downers, drinking your life away, you are doing it right. and weed is good for the next day... yeah love is king.

you are a beautiful young man. you are open to mental/spiritual growth, and I think you are ready for the greatest mind food, the teacher, sweet Lord Buddha. have you come across Buddhism? get a copy of the Dhammapada. treasure it.

Also I advise you to look into male asian/korean pop artists. Not because of the music but because of their looks. They don't look like the western ideal of maleness but they are loved by millions of people around the world. You look attractive Ollie, I say that as a straight Transman. Also I saw your dad on insta. You will also eventually grow a beard. It took me 5 years.

If you find yourself feeling sad and down, have you considered to ask God for help? He loves us wayyy more than we could imagine! Not trying to push God on you I just know His love is real : )

Michelleee oh believe me, I have! For me personally it felt like I had to force myself to search for Him and I just never got to a point where I could truly say “okay God. I’m giving my life up to you. You are my savior and my king”. I wish I believed in God, honestly. The philosophical side of me yearns for divinity. But at the end of the day I can’t force myself to believe in something...

@@Dmchadra fair enough! There's gonna be a lot of stuff in the way, the dark forces don't make it easy on us to come to the light. Ultimately I can say Jesus is the one who found me, I came to Him with a broken heart after my mom had died. That was when I was 12. But there has been a lot of hills and valleys since then, a lot of pain, experimenting with new age and psychadelics, a lot of running away,a lot of life. For me, its simply talking to God and making myself accessible to hear Him. Does that make sense? It'd be so much easier to explain in person. There's a verse in the bible that says "you will find me when you seek me with your whole heart". Anyway I think you're a beautiful soul, is it OK if I pray for you? I know I don't know you...but I guess that's the cool thing about KZbin and such. PS. I don't have it all figured out by any means, but I think its good if we fellow humans learn from each other and love one another.
@amuthanshan3 жыл бұрын
@somethinggood You ask "Have you considered God for help?". Maybe it would be worth asking Him for help if He had a decent record of helping. I suppose you must be unaware of the millions of kids who have prayed to Him for the leukemia to stop, for the earthquakes to stop, for the droughts to stop so vegetation can be grown, for starvation to stop and for the sexual abuse to stop. If you agree He has the power to stop all those things but chooses not to, then don't be surprised if some people think he is not a God worth asking for help in the first place. And if you agree that He knew beforehand how the universe was going to turn out before He even created it, including all the child sexual abuse that was going to happen, then are you sure you want to continue worshipping Him?

I think you need a better camera and microphone. Experiment with better lighting and use a more dramatic title. Then the views will increase. (also a catchier title)
