@@Gallygoy This was my first time flying Lufthansa and you would be right to say that I can not judge a whole airline based on 2 flights. I am giving my honest opinion based on this flight and I was disapointed by the food and IFE on this particular flight. I am aware that lufthansa offers better IFE's on it's newer planes but I beleive that a 5 star airline should be consistent, and that the quality of your experience on board should be the same on all flights, regardless of the aircraft you are flying on. That being said, I do not think Lufthansa is a bad airline and I would love to fly on them again on a different aircraft.

@@lysaviator4705 thats the spirit , Some flights can be crap shot -sure,but you never know what you can expect on flights. So overall of course it might not be perfect but they make sure your flight is as comfortable as possible all the times on all flights.

Brilliant video! You got a really nice wing view on a B747-8i, especially at sunset and sunrise. You're super lucky to fly on it since many airlines are retired it on their fleet nowadays. If I have a chance, I will fly on a B747-8i. Thanks for sharing your amazing trip report! I always interested in watching trip report about B747 so I subscribed your channel. Thanks for the sub, I'm glad you enjoyed my tripreport I am really glad I got to fly on the queen of the skies, and like you said, they are becoming increasingly rare. However, with Lufthansa's oldest 747-8 being only 9 years, I doubt that Lufthansa will see their 748s leave anytime soon, even though it might take some time for them to get back in the skies, due to the pandemic. I really hope you have the opportunity to fly on one as it is truly an amazing machine

Great video...It always used, and still does, amaze me how these huge planes come in from Europe and then in such a short time turn around and fly back to Europe. I used to fly Lufthansa from San Francisco to Frankfurt and always wondered if there should not be more time between coming in and take off but I guess the people scheduling these flights have a LOT more knowledge than I could ever have. Watching this beautiful video makes me want to jump on a plane, however, my favorite the Queen of the Sky mostly flies cargo (unless Lufthansa still has the 747 in service as a passenger plane). Anyway, thanks for sharing this great video.

Aer Lingus moved to T2? (10:01)

yes they are in terminal 2 and they have been for quite a while now, I believe that Aer Lingus passengers clear "pre-customs" in Ireland which means that they don't need to clear it in the United States. This allows Aer Lingus to use terminals that don't have custom clearance facilities. It is actually a really neat feature as you can skip all the long lines in LAX and walk straight out to baggage claim.

Thanks for watching, The food served on board was by no means bad, and the dinner was actually really good. I'm just a little disapointed in regards to the 5 star rating that Lufthansa proudly displays.

Thanks for watching, you are right, the Iberia plane that is parked at the gate is an A330, but I was talking about the Delta plane taxiing behind it, which is a 777-200er.

Awesome trip report! I'm disappointed at the IFE, especially the aircraft was 5 years old, not very old. The food on 5-star airlines should be better than this

Thanks for the positive fedback! I completley agree with you on how disapointing Lufthansa was on this flight, especially with the IFE. There is actually a lot of controversy on wether or not Lufthansa deserves a 5 star rating, even more so when compared to other airlines such as Qatar or Singapore. btw, I really like your content and subbed ;D

Your movements while filming are much to fast. Than it's not sharp enoug. Your noises in the back - this permanent kr kr kr - kills the rest.

Thanks for the feedback. I am aware of the mediocre quality of my footage, and that is beause I filmed with a phone. I however now have a proper camera and will use a tripod for more stability and to remove the "kr kr kr" noises that can be heard in the backround.
