From my opinion, Turkish Airlines is one of the best airlines is the world. These are the reasons why I think that: The cabin crew is really nice most of the times. 2: When you fly long haul, (mostly on a 777), you get great amenities. 3: Their cabins are nice and their aircrafts are modern, unlike other airlines that still use 20 30 year old planes. 4: Great variety of destinations, so even if you fly to a city with not that big of a population, Turkish airlines has a high chance to fly there. For example, when I went with my family to Singapore, we flew from Romania, Bucharest (where I live btw) to the new airport in Istanbul aboard Turkish Airlines A330-300 Business class, which was amazing. From what I remember, we didn’t get any amenity kit but that’s to be expected as the flight is very short. Surprisingly, the flight was nearly full. Only a couple business class seats were not occupied, and so was the economy, nearly full! I am really happy that Turkish Airlines flies to Romania with an A330-300, as I love bigger airplanes, that are usually used on medium to long haul flights, and not the planes that fly short haul flights. Well, it actually depends. The A320NEO is probably my 3rd favorite plane (Behind the A380 and A350), and I also like the 737 MAX’s looks and cabin, but it’s safety, yuck. Anyways, as I was saying. Turkish Airlines is a very nice airline with plenty of amenities and comfort for passengers, but it’s not my favorite. My favorite airline is... Lufthansa!!! Because: Their planes are just amazingly modern, clean and comfortable to fly in, cabin crews are great, when I flew Lufthansa at least (that’s a lot of times btw because when my family and I fly long haul, we usually go to Germany first and then go to our destination with, you guessed it, Lufthansa! Also, Lufthansa’s livery is really nice, both the old and the new one, but I like the old one more because it featured more colors than the new dark blue one. Also, the pilots are very well trained and the cabin crew is very professional, but they also have a sense of humor, obviously. Overall, Lufthansa, from my opinion, is the best airline in the world, but not by much. Singapore airlines is also one of the best, and so is Silk air, but it’s technically Singapore Airlines so that doesn’t really count. Qatar airways is my second favorite because it’s aircrafts are modern, clean, well repaired aka safe, cabin crew are very professional and the pilots are also well trained. Their livery is just amazing. I really don’t like Emirates. From my opinion, they are much, much more rude to economy class passengers, compared to their business and first class passengers. When I flew Emirates economy, they literally pulled the blankets out of our hands and they were very unprofessional to the economy passengers. Also, some seats aboard Emirates airplanes are very dirty. For example, when I flew from Budapest to Dubai aboard Emirates, the seat was very dirty with stains on the seat, dirt in the storage compartment and also stains on the table. Cmon Emirates, your too overpriced for what you provide for economy passengers. Don’t get me wrong, the first class aboard Emirates is amazing, but not all people can afford that kind of travel. I’m just saying that from my opinion, Emirates is very overpriced. Well that’s about it!
