Out of all the videos I've seen, aside from the OFFICIAL Triumph channel this video has the BEST shots of the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster being ridden on the road. Brilliant job mate! Thank you!

Nice review. I have the 2018 and would point out (as it was the biggest negative issue (or something to be wary of) that you referenced about a dozen times) that you can have the forward control mid-mounted, if you are concerned about where the controls are. It's a fantastic bike - I would recommend it to anyone. Great power, looks fabulous, comfortable and you can do masses to it to make it your own and add those personal touches.

I'm really enjoying your bike reviews over here in California. The Triumph Speedmaster is a real beauty. I like that it is physically larger than the original Bonneville. This bike has the presence needed today for modern motorcycling. Tale, care, my friend.

Without a doubt, you put together the best reviews on motorcycles that I have watched. I especially like the way you show seat height. I am also 5-6 in height so if your feet look comfortably planted I can be assured mine will. This Triumph is really appealing to me on all aspects. I will be saving up for one. Thanks!

I thought something was off. And something indeed was. I was thinking "What's a crank angle parallel twin?" Then I realized it was the crank spacing as in 270-degrees for the MT-07, 120-degrees for the XSR 900's inline triple and 180-degrees for the Kawasaki Twins. @1:06 Editors missed the "270-degree" before "Crank angle" poor Jinno was only reading what was on the script :(

On a cruiser footboards allow you to vary your foot position. Upright straight back... knees at right angle. Bike beneath you....low centre of gravity....big motor or big torque at low to mid range so it can climb hills or accelerate out a corner without gear changing. Really big motors are actually awkward to manage in traffic. Well mine is anyway.

What is cruise control?
@karenallen52084 жыл бұрын
@@MrKamei Cruise control, just like in a car, sets your speed so you don't have to hold the throttle. It's nice to have on the highway.

@@karenallen5208 thanks karen. I don't have a car, nor driven one. 😀 I ride Yamaha rx135 very old bike. 😀 So, i don't have any idea what you are saying.😀 But thanks, it seems interesting to ride cruise control.👍👍👍

Great review! I have a blck 2018 Speedmaster, the same. I had to redo the seat, as it was not comfortable. I also swapped the forward foot controls for the Bobber's mid controls. I bet you would like them better.

I keep hearing from people that the speedmaster is "an old man bike" but I think its awesome for anyone. I dont like the beach cruiser bars and would swap them out for either the drag bars that the bobber has or some mini apes

When it comes to foot pegs it's mainly just what you are used to. I have always had cruisers so I am used to forward pegs. Recently my son let me ride his sport style bike and the pegs were way back compared to what I am used to and therefore, I couldn't hardly find the pegs after taking off from a stoplight. I would literally have to look back behind me to figure out where the stupid pegs were and I just about wrecked from looking down and back to see where the pegs were. It seemed dangerous to me. So really if you just ride a bike for a while you will eventually get used to the forward controls. Having said that, I personally like mid controls the best. The bike I have now has floorboards and I position my feet toward the back of the floorboard and so my foot is roughly about where a mid control would be.

i have this bike since 2018.. the build quality and comfort is really really good. its a cruiser...you would need to get the windshield if u wanna ride fast in the expressway... the rear seat is not that comfortable but you can get aftermarket.... sound is really good....i cant complain about this bike.... for a cruiser this is one of the best you can get....
@rookietv54503 жыл бұрын
Can you recommend a good aftermarket pillion seat? The only reason I’m buying this is because of the pillion seat I’m debating between HD sportster s, pan america, and this speedmaster. Maybe you could give some insights?

With similar specs and few frame changes Triumph should just go on and revive the Thunderbird Sport model already, reminiscent of the 90s Hinckley icon. You know you'd want one. :)

This is made for open, endless highways in the USA where you could literally ride for hours without having to put your feet down, the riding experience is wasted here where we have very different road conditions where traffic is stop and go before you even get to experience 15-25 minutes of Expressway before having to do toll stops again. Other open roads here are twisties and youre forced to ride slow because of your forward control riding position.

A 5'9" inch height is the wrong height to review a forward control cruiser. I'm 5 inches taller and a hundred pounds heavier. For me, this review is useless. Also a comfortable show-room OEM saddle isn't the saddle to review. Ride it all day, then tell us your back problems. The test for a saddle is to ride 10 hours a day for 10 days. Then are you able to walk straight up and no limp?
