You need an iridium plug in that. That’ll cure the misfire! Haha

That's a great example of why that exhaust wrapping trend should be avoided at all costs. Look at the moisture that's obviously trapped against the pipe. In 12 months it'll be rotten with rust.

It's got WAECS. Water assisted exhaust cooling system. Only effective in predominantly wet environments. Being in Wales should be good for a lot of the time..

I don't know much about bikes, but the purple paint looks like my 1970 T100.

That's the first steam-powered Cub I've seen! I would have thought that can't be good for the exhaust pipe. Anyway, I'm pleased to see that quite a lot of Cubs seem to survive.

What is the point of bandaging the exhaust pipe?
@paulhenshaw4514Сағат бұрын
None, unless there is a split or a hole in it.

Similar age to your blue one? Obviously you do what you are paid to... Is that Zenith worn out? Perhaps the usual camplate/fork wear & end float, if it wasn't a fluffed change? Needs a pink Lodge plug. lol

Hope that bandage is going to be scrapped.

If it’s only ever done it once, on a steep hill it could be operator error. ie he missed the change and made a bit of a pigs ear of it, as there was a lot going on. May not be that simple but going on and off the throttle going up hill in first then down hill in first should show up round dogs. Or not. Hopefully not.
