This great battle, called the First World War of Antiquity, began when Agamemnon, King of the Mycenaean Civilisation, attacked Troy to capture the Dardanelles...
The Greek army was led by the famous warriors Achilles and Mirmidons, who never lost a battle, while the Trojan army was led by the legendary warrior Prince Hector, heir to the Trojan throne...

HistoricBattles I don't think it was the Greeks who fought with the Trojans because Achilles in the famous Hollywood film Troy Achilles says that he does not fight for the Greeks or rather for Greece so how could this have been a Greco-Trojan war. Why don't you tell the historical truth as it is and not give credit to your "Ancient Greece" That never existed. But tell who the Trojans really were and who they were with whom they fought. Tell the truth of the story even without giving the merits to "ancient Greece" Because the mind grows and the mind lies to the Greeks after history. So tell the truth exactly

Agamemnon’s wife, Clymistra, who cheated while Agamemnon was away, gave the King a nasty case of Clymidia, and thus historically was how the STD was officially named. This fun factoid would become the lore behind the infamous brand name “Trojan” condoms. The rubbers that keep us from getting “Clymidia” that we use to this very day!😀

That's very interesting. Thank-you for this tidbit. Hmmmm... So Agamemnon conquered multiple lands, but didn't win in the bedroom. I guess you've gotta lose somewhere. I'm not exactly a fan of the power-hungry king. According to the movie, he didn't care how many soldiers he sacrificed to get what he wanted. How about fighting your own battles... Like I did?
@Blue-Hawk-Legend
@Blue-Hawk-Legend 20 күн бұрын
@legends51.wordpress this was what,2500 years ago. Times and people were very very different back then. But as in today as back then soldiers have always fought and died in battles,not kings. Surprisingly enough it was mostly the wealthy that were chosen to fight battles because of the cost to upkeep weapons and armor. It wasn't until Marius reforms in Rome that the average citizen could join. Same with medieval times. The knights were all wealthy at least to some degree and the archers and foot soldiers were just farmers and poor citizens. Obviously there were different kinds of kings,some tyrannical,some kind and generous but they pretty much only ruled and governed. They didn't fight often,the risk was to high. If the king or general goes down the men lose heart and essentially lose the battle and their country will be taken over or ravaged and plundered

The Trojan war was in 652 BC, not 1184BC. Read Wilson and Blackett's books. Also, the Welsh and Gauls originated in Troy according to their ancient tradition. Brutus of Troy founded the nation of Britain!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

In Wikipedia it is 1184 BC. Aeneas, the ancestor of Romulus and Remus who founded Rome in 753 BC, escaped Troy and was installed with his family in Lavinium and the Albalonga. So the ancestor of Romulus and Remus couldn't live after them, it is quite logical.
@Thebattler86
@Thebattler86 4 ай бұрын
@@Чёртик-э3т But you're not "Quite logical". If you weren't so obtuse you would have realised that I was saying Wilson and Blackett have demolished the theory that the Trojan War was in 1180BC and shown proof in their book that it actually took place in 653BC. Listen and learn. Romulus and Remus were not real people, there is, however, substantial archaeological and second hand evidence that the Trojan War and the Trojans themselves were. There also exists the huge issue pointed out by Alan Wilson that if you place the Trojan War in the 12th century BC, you essentially place 500 years of nothing happening on the historical timeline, because then the timeline of events don't add up according to historical accounts. Do you understand that regurgitating biased mainstream narrative that you read on Goebbelspedia 10 minutes ago does not make you an intellectual?

It's just retold the movie. This video should've be categorized as history. It's a movie synopsis.
