I have an Xbox Series X and my usb web cam won’t show up no matter what I try. I have a 1080p webcam and it works fine on other apps I tested it on. When I live stream it lights up and says it’s active but when I check it’s not. Any idea what could be causing this? I tried fiddling with the capture settings and different ports for the webcam. Restarted my Xbox after. I got it to work once but after repeating the same steps it’s back to not working…. Any ideas? Help!

When I try to stream to twitch from my Xbox everything is fine on the Xbox end, but when I open my twitch page it says I’m offline and not streaming. Please help

When u start the stream make sure to wait and dont close the stream tab on your xbox until its fully loaded

Your DNS has to match light stream and your Xbox or won’t show

I am streaming on my Xbox using twitch and my party chat isn’t there. One is using a PlayStation, does that matter? And my party audio toggle is on in my Xbox stream tab.

I'm having an issue where every overlay works EXCEPT the webcam, It shows on the Lightstream browser along with everything else. But when I check my stream on twitch there's no Webcam, How can I fix this?

Hi, I'm having that same problem. Webcam works while Microsoft Edge is open but when you switch to the game it stops working. It happened to me with streamlabs console too, the exact same problem. Hopefully they help us here :(

I was a die hard user of lightstream for yrs but within last 6-8 months its horrible. Nothing changed on my end but the feed from lightstream was just awful. Cancelled gave it a few months then resubscribed and still the same. Wish wish theyd bring out there own native app to stream to KZbin from xbox cause twitch is not where its at!

What was your issues? My Xbox got to lightstream but doesn’t show in the preview and won’t show video on twitch but will show the things I have as overlays. It used to show video on twitch until a couple days ago..

@@picturemethis just the quality of the video feed was horrible to twitch. Looked very blurry and choppy. Everything worked as in overlays, alerts ect. It went from 1080p to seemed like 480p max. Maybe it's changed now and the feed is more stable

Are you saying in 2024, the maximum frame rate lightstream supports from Xbox is 30fps? Why am I paying for 60fps then?

God, so many things to learn in my internet's probably not even good enough to run it. My video will just freeze. Literally been watching from my phone while I played and it was on the same screen from 25 minutes ago. and then whenever I try to end the stream. It'll just say something that is wrong, and I can never actually end it until I turn off my xbox. I've only got live five times, and every time was a disaster so far.

I have done every known trouble shoot for party audio issues. I still cannot get my party audio to broadcast other than having it go through my speakers. That alone is difficult when playing battle royale games as i like to turn up game volume and turn down chat volume. Any and all help is appreciated.

Sorry no one's responded and sorry for mine being so late; i had encountered this before and there are a couple of reasons. One could be the devs have blocked streaming for their game. This is more of a rarer thing. The second and this is the main reason if not sole reason; Are you by chance Cloud Play/Streaming a game (you know how some games say play via cloud) Cloud Gaming on Xbox for some reason wont allow for Cloud streaming and streaming to twitch at the same time. On mobile i had no issues cloud gaming n streaming to twitch.
