Yes he can make a lot of money from pleb fights, but he wants ALL the money, not just a lot. He has a limited amount of big name opponents left, and for an undisputed fight, he wants Saudi to basically give him a billion dollars. Is it reasonable or realistic? I'd say no, but it's Saudi and they have a lot of blood money to work with, but I suspect that's the reasoning.

The criticism comes from being a fan and loving what the fighters did and had respect for them and just being real about them and having them at these standards that they should be at we need more fans like Geordie that can be real and tell you how it is and I’m a Conor fan boy still to this day but I watch Geordie cause I like him and he’s real and I agree with him on most points some fans just can’t take that criticism on their favorite fighters, it’s good to listen to both sides and be real

I think it's worth saying that you've built a fantastic community (I've been subscribed since your TFR days) and you consistently pull numbers on your videos for a reason. The vast majority of your audience know that you are a down to earth guy, we get your sense of humour and we enjoy your points whether we agree with them or not and we enjoy your videos without leaving a comment. Don't take too much notice of the negative comments because they are most likely from either a kid or an idiot and for every 1 comment like that 1000 people have enjoyed the video without commenting. The problem is that normal journalists aren’t giving the criticism that these fighters deserve. They all want to keep the line of communication to the likes of Tyson, Conor and the long list of others. The only mainstream journalist I see criticising the sport of boxing and holding it to account is Teddy Atlas and he has been blackballed.

Commercialism is killing boxing for me. I'm in my sixties now and i've been a fight fan since i was a kid. There was a time where a fighter would genuinely want to fight the best around and earn their respect. I don't blame them for wanting to earn as much money as they can over their career, but it just seems like they want to pick and choose who would be the safer bet rather than who would be a bigger challenge. I can see why the bare knuckle scene is growing in popularity!
