Im actually liking your content quite a bit buddy. As a guy in my early 40"s, getting back into the gym and eating correctly, your channel is very valuable. Ive been at it three months now every day and made ridiculous progress already.

I’m Australian and am blue collar. We’re all 6 foot 4 and super jacked from 200 years of good convict genes. We eat lamb chops, mashed potatoes and Vegemite. Occasionally we’re known to drink 24 cans of beer in an afternoon 🇦🇺

How can I help ?

What I personally do : 1) 15-20K steps of daily walking interspersed over the whole day. Best fat loss hack of all time. 2) Heavy sled pushing 3x per week for 3-4 rounds of one min on with two min of rest at the end of full body lifting sessions. 3) Stair climbing for 30 min 2x per week on non lifting days.

do you do your 20k steps on an empty stomach?

@johnathanbadass5 - It's spread over the whole entire day. I usually break fast around 1130a or noon. By then, I usually have 12K+ steps already. It's also a good idea to do short walks after meals to help regulate blood sugar.

@ryandeffley7652 wow and thanks for sharing. I'm trying to fit cardio into my workout so yea, thanks again!

@johnathanbadass5 - The best hack is microdosing it over the whole day. A mistake people make with steps is doing really long walks to get a bunch done at once. But when intersperse over the whole day, it's a lot easier. Plus, it's better to have consistent movement to offset the time being sedentary. If you do a brisk 6 mile walk in 90 min or so, you may have 12K steps. But then you sit most of the day. However, if you were to do more frequent shorter walks after every 2-4hrs of inactivity, you move way more and get more steps without feeling like a grind. It's just a mindset change.

Hi, I understand you from your video that you only have a cup of water or coffee before you start workout or make your way to the gym. May I ask when you do fasted cardio in the morning, do you drink water while on the treadmill or protein shake? Im asking cos i drink protein and since you said its "fasted" cardio, am i doing it wrong and my body is tapping into my protein source instead of the fat in this case?
@JosiahFitness4 ай бұрын
I drink a liter of water before the gym. Along with electrolytes. But no I don’t drink protein. Personally I just don’t like how I feel with food in my stomach that early unless I’m running a hybrid fitness race
