When Alexis Crawford missed a class and later a shift at work, her family knew something was wrong. As a missing persons investigation got underway, some shocking details would come to light about things that had happened in the days prior. Things that would point investigators back to where they first started looking, and the first person they spoke to...

@@tomarobinson1486 I feel you! 👍💯. Over the years, I have had other women who I knew admired me but they became obsessed with me because of their envy, and they acted like they just couldn't leave me alone or rest until they could find a way to get in my life, and get close to me so that they could do things to try to bring me down a notch or two! 🥴🥴🥴 I would rather deal with women who make it known that they are jealous and envious of me, than deal with other women who try to hide their envy, and pretend to like you!

What in the world would make you murder anybody, period, is more like my question. That's the part I don't get. I've had a boyfriend cheat with my best friend staying with us while she found a place to live. I guess I had the biggest temper tantrum of my adult life; I think I laid on the floor kicking and screaming and hitting the floor with my fists. But, never did I consider killing anyone? I just feel there must have been more to it? Like a money leverage? Was someone mooching off someone/someone's livelihood or career path threatened at the same time? Maybe that apartment was haunted. What was with the fake balcony? There were glass doors that looked like they went somewhere, but no deck. Just bars across the doors. So that's ugly/bad feng shui/bad luck. That night, Alexis' mom sent her some money thru a cash app; I wonder if that cash was on her and if the couple didn't take her money, too, like, for drugs.

What a horror story. Poor Alexis shouldn't have stepped foot in that apartment again. What I can't understand is why so many young women stand by men who don't deserve their loyalty. Barron wouldn't have stood by Jordon. He cheated on Jordan when he r×ped her friend. But who does she give her support to? This proves how little respect young women have for themselves. If Jordan believed she deserved better, she'd never have ended up with an animal like Barron in the first place, and Alexis would still be alive.

I have encountered a great deal of turmoil in my life, particularly when it comes to dealing with envious women, especially my former sisters-in-laws. This is what ignited the inspiration behind my memoir, "A Jealous Person Will Kill You, Literally."

The parents’ pain was palpable. It brought me to tears. I hope the couple are sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. It is the least based on the suffering they caused. Please God let there be justice.

Exactly! I'm a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who would absolutely agree with that diagnosis of the both of them! Jordan is also a narcissist. She was never the friend Alexis! She was a jealous and envious young woman who would have done anything to please her boyfriend Baron! I'm hoping that the two of them receive life without parole@ 😡😡😡

I really hope neither of them get bail. They murdered someone and not for self defense or anything like that. They just killed her because they didn’t like that she was trying to defend herself about him taking her car and him raping her. Thats pretty much why (not a reason really but still how it went down).

I haven't heard of many of the cases you report on in the UK and they are so interesting and sad and unbelievable. This case is one that I have not heard of. There are only a few pages that give info on crimes against women and girls of color including African, African American, Indigenous women and Indian women. Thank you

This is sickening. Neither of those two should ever see daylight again. It’s bad enough to violate that poor girl and have someone she thought was a friend turn on her over it, but then to take her life? How is bail even a possibility? Sadly in our society, it’s rarely about justice. Wealth puts a finger on the scale of justice but so does who you harm. If he had committed this same crime against a certain type of victim, there would be zero talk of bail. The case would probably have been tried already.

This is horrifying. I feel terrible for Alexis and her family. She deserved so much better than what she got and had her entire life and future ahead of her. The terror and pain that Alexis had to endure in her last moments is too much for me to even imagine. This attack and murder was of revenge. That much is very obvious in my opinion.

@@snickerdoodles787I was just thinking the same thing. I watch a lot of true crime and we see the same cases being covered over and over. As far as I can remember, none of those cases are of people of colour. They are, of course, tragic and important no matter the victim's race. I find it shocking that after years watching true crime, this is the first time I am hearing this horrible case. Why is that? It's so disappointing and unfair. I'm a white female, BTW.

Prosecutors cannot use his confession bc his Miranda rights had not properly been given to him. Imagine having a taped confession that can’t be played for the jury. Cops know that rights have to be given so why would they allow this confession to be recorded without reading his rights properly?? That’s incompetence On the police’s part.
