When King David reviewed his life, his focus was on the Lord as the source of his strength and victories. I'm so grateful to hear this message. I've been really slow on realizing the glorious beauty of the Shepherds being chosen to hear The Good News first. I've been reborn for 2 years and hear the Word often but it shook me awake to see David's early life as shepherd be part of the glory of the beginning of the Promise fulfillment in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ. The physical line of David as well as his occupation. In fact, those last few minutes were especially powerful to me. Like I said, I'm slow, but Very humbled and grateful for these times when God takes away the veil from my blind spots.

God’s Word gives clear instructions for our manner of living, which gives us understanding The Way of The Father. The little gods that the world 🌎 idolizes teaches passivity leading people to sinful negativity and toxicity in their manner of living, they do not exercise understanding and refuse The Way of The Father. Staying close to Jesus allows us to walk in a way that is representative of our Christian faith - by the Spirit - it’s a present-tense command, not a suggestion. In our daily routines ‘we are called to walk in a manner of integrity’, so that no one is puzzled whom we Follow; Jesus. When we fail in a spiritual principle, God will bring forth opportunities for further instruction to help us when the next trial arrives in our lives. God will teach us to trust in His strength and not our own. Learning how to live in the world but not of-the-world comes only by God’s instructions in His Word - His plans prepare and ready us to handle trials from never dreamed of places. Pastor Begg, as I see it you do incredibly fine presentations. It bothers me that quite often you seem to down grade the work that you do and make comments like, "next week we will be finished with this section as I am sure you'll be happy about that". My answer is, "no, I learned a lot, and I enjoyed what you had to say as you make clear a lot of what the Bible has to say." Also, when you are invited somewhere THEY are lucky to have you. Also, I have read many of the comments from other listeners and they too see your presentations as well done and valuable. God bless, -john
