Effortless Insec naw your wrong on that when it comes to athletics. You won’t really be getting that low in football or basketball so why train that way? Practice how you play so full rom isn’t really necessary for explosion unless your trying to kill the glutes and not the quads

For an idea of where to find strength standards and whether you fall in as a beginner, novice, intermediate, advanced, or elite level in lifting according to your body weight just look up the workout you’re doing like bench press then also add weights standards and go to website strengthlevel.com to see where you fall. And use that as kind of a guide and tool

I prefer doing more reps with lower weights over fewer reps with higher weights. It does increase stamina of the muscle, but does not increase strength as much. Still, you get an athlete form and that is what I want.

Had ankle surgery in September. Found studies that show Single-Leg Squats are just as affective as full Squats for increasing vert - implementing them for any leg imbalances. Found tieing a resistance band round a Squat rack & then wrapping it round my ankle joint (with my body in a lunge position) to be very effective for Ankle mobility. Eccentric Calf Raises have been great for strengthing my ankle. Any tips from yourself Chris?

how does one lose the bounce / spring practically over night? I am dealing with an autoimmune disorder and about 3/4 months in began losing muscle/weight and the ability to exercise. lost about 38-40lbs in 3-4 months. that was 2020. I cld still jump or have a little bounce up until this year. as soon as started getting better and stronger and my ability to exercise got better. I tried jumping and literally cld not get off the ground without knee, foot and ankle pain. lower back just recently started hurting too a month into light squats 30-40lbs. don’t know if it’s nerve related but feels like the power just got switched off in my legs. even my walking mechanics are all screwed up like the calf muscles aren’t working in sync with my hamstrings and quads. 2 years ago I was still grabbing a 10’ rim and now i can barely touch the bottom of the nets
@warrenwest68847 жыл бұрын
are those exercice only for vertical jumb or it also help to get faster and more powerfull ?

Interesting program but the technique is???You are doing the reps too fast, it's like riding the bicycle for hours and mildly gain something. You need to slow it down and hold each rep from 4 to 15 seconds.
