Hokkaido is the most northern main island in Japan and is known for being the island with a lot/the most of farmland (e.g crops, farmanimals, ect...) Since the rest of Japan is mainly city or mountains and rice fields. That's why Hokkaido is famous for its dairy products (+white chocolate), butter, apples, other fresh fruit, potatoes, ect.... I'm so happy to see Cherry enjoy Japanese snacks, as I grew up on a lot of them!

We had this box two weeks ago I'd say . We all loved the chrisps covered in white chocolate too 😋 and the melon biscuits 😋 . We put our three scores out of ten on every item and keep the books . There so fun oooh and the puff balls . My daughter made me come back on and say how lush they are 🤣

I'm sorry to say Cherry, but Japanese portion sizes are always small. They don't do family/party packs. Everything there is just downsized. If you were to go to the supermarket in Japan, you'd be using a shopping basket instead of a shopping cart like we do in Europe.

I've made popcorn covered in white chocolate for parties and it's honestly so good. I don't even normally like white chocolate but white chocolate and something salty like popcorn is delicious. You could easily make your own white chocolate coated chips too, I'm sure they'd be amazing

wasabi rice cracker things we have here in the netherlands in something called “japanese party snack mix” but they are in there with similar textured balls with white sesame seeds, those aren’t spicy and so delicious

Heading up to Hokkaido this February for the Sapporo Snow Festival 🥳 My favorite Hokkaido-limited snack is the “White” Black Thunder. Take my favourite Japanese chocolate and cookie snack, and cover it in white chocolate. Yummm 🤤

Not only are the products in these boxes amazing but their customer service is fantastic too! I had an issue the shipping for one of my boxes and after emailing Bokksu, Ii had a response with multiple ways to resolve my problem and it all sorted out within 2 days!!

Sadly cannot eat much of the things they often put in these boxes as have a milk allergy. I Wish more companies would do good vegan (and possibly also nut free) mystery snack boxes for people who are vegan or have food allergies. I don’t want to sub and then have to take out a whole load of stuff I cannot eat.
