Without proper moisture, there is no compaction. Missed a crucial step watering the area down first.

When I use the jumping jack I had a peice of string tied so someone can help you move it easier so your not doing alot of pushing

We had one knotted in the top to rip it out with the excavator. Loved this thing but, man it'll beat you.

If you flat out and smooth out material, before compacting you don’t work as hard move it around
