Trying POSCA PENS and WATERCOLOUR on the Same Sketchbook Page

Hi everyone! I decided to combine Posca Pens and Watercolour on the same sketchbook page! This was so much fun to try and I hope you enjoy watching the process. :) Be sure to let me know what you think! And also let me know if you have any suggestions for future projects I could work on. Gorgeous picture, amazing work as always! For art subscription boxes, I suggest the Artsnacks + box. They come in 2 sizes, the smaller and cheaper one containing things like pens, pencils, brushes etc with candy and a sticker, while the plus box is bigger and usually comes with the items above as well as some sort of paper or other surface to work on and other things that are exclusive to the plus box.

I've used acrylics then added markers and water colors and colored pencils . It works well.

Chris this is stunning, I had never thought of mixing these two media, although I do use a white Posca for highlights and I’ve also used a white Posca in a watercolour picture of feathers. Your picture is great and I enjoyed watching, thanks for sharing your talent with us all.

For an art box I recommend Scrawlar box. They just seemed to give you better art supplies that work together compared to other art boxes in my opinion. The art supplies they choose usually end up working together well

The same here. Others draw childish characters like squarebob with poscas (nothing wrong with that, only boring) while here it's cool art with techniques and blending with other mediums. Really interesting 🤘

Well this is certainly gorgeous. Tho I will admit I like the flower better when it wasn't fully outlined with black but the lighter petals were drawn in pencil.

The art subscription box I’ve tried is art-snacks. It’s good for if you don’t have much time and just want a quick little art piece. I think you’d like paletteful packs tho. It comes with more supplies and a sketchbook. I’ve seen other KZbinrs use them but I haven’t.

Really lovely artwork! If you want to do more watercolour work, I highly recommend using 100% cotton paper; it is so awesome for watercolours!

Beautiful piece! Combining mediums is always fun and useful! I would highly recommend branching out and exploring all of the multimedia ideas you have, no matter how crazy they seem. You are so methodical and talented that you have a high chance of making whatever you do work. That's the beauty of multimedia art, as you showcased in this video; it can bring certain aspects of the piece to light, or hide others, where a single medium could not. Pushing yourself will allow you to find all of the different ways to do this, all of the ways each medium interacts with the others. No matter what you do next, it's going to be awesome.

Beautiful drawing as always! Recommendation for Art boxes: not tried it myself but I always heard that the Art Snacks boxes are supposed to be really great in value and quality. Also beautifully selected and you can get the small or the big one, whatever suits your budget (~20/40$)

If you haven’t yet I would love to see like a half and half portrait of like Jack Sparrow both as the normal pirate Jack and the skeleton Jack! I feel you could come up with a medium that would highlight both and really bring it to life! I thought of this after seeing the moon drawing :D

It’s a color pencil. It’s best to use color pencils or prisma col erase when doing watercolor graphite just smears

For my Posca/watercolour art I like to use a coloured pencil because graphite tends to smudge a lot more.

you should try out sketchbox!!!! i dont see too much on it, my experience on it so far, is the past few months have been fairly similar. thats rhe only drawback, theres still plenty of awesome supplies you get!!!
