I heard that play sand is too fine for chickens, but don't take my word for it since I am literally 12 weeks into my chicken-keeping journey. I really like the Isabellas. I may get a couple of them next.

Construction sand is coarse and more appropriate from what I’ve read because of the dust factor.

I know many people swear by Stall Dry. They’ll put it in a poop try/trough under the roosting bars (since they poop a lot in the same place at night). It sucks the moisture right out of the droppings.

I have that same lysol pet and it smells horrible. The first time i used it i was bugging out cuz i couldn't understand were the horrible smell was coming from... Smurf is freaking adorable

Wonder if Nirvana was a little jealous in your other video or if Blondie was making her in a bad mood with checking her a lot. I hope and pray that the sand works for yas, you can’t catch a break. Where’s your friendly rat snake hiding today? lol I would be freaking out even though they aren’t dangerous. Did you get rid of that black snake? If it's lurking around you will miss some eggs and the new chickies are in serious danger. Two black snakes and you are breeding THEM not chickens. Nip pests in the bud before they nip you.
