Thanks for sharing Rachel. This past Sunday our Pastor preached about how society has dictated our lives and how it's obvious it's not working. My Bible is my blue print. Unfortunately I don't have land to do what you're doing but I'm fortunate enough to buy from local farmers and even start a small garden. Again thanks for sharing.

I learned about the difference in meat chickens and layers. I feel that you are right with what you said. Meat chicken are not long living birds. One farmer I watch I think he was saying that the birds he uses are a copyrighted breed. He sells his at a farmers market along with beef, pork and eggs. His chickens are in high demand and he sells out quickly. I think you will find they will taste much better. When I was little we had chickens and I often watched as my dad dispensed them and my mom cleaned them. I was just the circle of life. Shop local farmers.
