Trying the most GENIUS trendiest recipe in Korea right now (easy & delicious)

Today, I’m trying a famous singer’s special recipe by Lee Chanwon @mee_woon_sanae that might just give fried chicken a run for it’s money! It’s a Chicken Jeon Pancake, inspired by a recipe from famous singer Lee Chanwon (@mee_woon_sanae). This savory pancake blends juicy chicken with aromatic garlic and a punchy garlic soy sauce, making it a must-try for any food enthusiast.
INGREDIENTS
300g Chicken Drumsticks
1/2 Green Onion
1/2 cup Milk
12 Garlic Cloves
1/2 Tbsp Salt
A pinch of Pepper,
6 Tbsp Potato starch
4 Tbsp Water
GARLIC SOY SAUCE
4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
4 Tbsp Corn Starch Syrup
3 Tbsp Sugar
4 Tbsp Cooking Wine
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut chicken into small pieces, season with salt and pepper, and marinate in milk for 30 mins.
2. Thinly slice green onions and soak to reduce spiciness.
3. Slice garlic and green pepper thinly.
4. Mix sauce ingredients and microwave for 2 mins.
5. Combine chicken, green pepper, garlic, starch, and water in a bowl.
6. Heat oil in a pan, spread the mixture, and cook until crispy on both sides, pressing down with a pancake press.
7. Serve with green onions and dip in sauce. Enjoy!
