I am 71 & Ive learned that it is not the deals I missed that hurt me. It was the ones I made that I paid too much. If I cant buy at my price I walk away. The reality is there are far more project vehicles than there are ready willing and able buyers. The internet has got folks to believing that every old relic is worth high dollar's. Us baby boomers are dying off. When we are gone the demand for what we drove or wanted in the 60's will die with us.

i could not have said it better myself.....i want to buy a 63-67 corvette coupe.....basket case...needing work but these people seem to think they are gold........and like you said the buyers will fade away and maybe these people then will realize "hey maybe i should have sold when that guy offered me a good price." i keep asking and looking but i have my doubts if i will be able to own one.....

I have a 59 Chevy 3200 fleet side 6 cyl. 3 on tree big window restored. We’re restoring 61 Chevy 3200 v8 4 speed. Love the 55- 59 Chevy trucks. Good luck at auction

Everyone wants to hit a home run when selling stuff. Lots of folks would rather let it rot. That's why I still have my 56 Chevy 210 2dr after 53 years. I am also restoring it one last time. I like the wagons, and Nomads, but unless you got the coin to trick them out with cold air, they are too hot to drive here in Texas! My brother had a nice 56 Sedan Delivery. Sold it years ago. Too dang hot, and no windows to roll down!! Fun watching your video. Would have liked to hear some of the haggling!! ;)

Down here in Huachuca City Arizona is a old wrecking yard called Foty Auto Parts. The old timer passed and his kids are just selling the yard full of old cars. Lots of four doors but cool stuff.

In the 50’s a friend had a 37 Lincoln Zephyr convertible with metallic blue, white leather and white top. Had it parked on the street and got hit by a drunk. He needed a front fender and went to a junk yard to get one. The owner of the yard said he should by a whole car incase he needed more parts later. He gave the guy $100 for a 37 sedan. I noticed at the time that the Lincoln had a v12 in it and a huge radiator. I was used to 37 chevys and dodges and 47 chevies.The only other Zephyr I saw after that was the one that was owned by ZZTop and it is gorgeous.

That exactly what I was thinking..... I felt sad.. asking my self why someone would spend money in something he's not willing to work on it Directly..and just keeping collecting old stuff while he's getting older and not to make a decision before it's too late...... It was great seeing the cars but such a shame that you wasted your time. I love the fact that you're saving all these relics. I'm on Cape Cod, I've got a 61 Chevy suburban four-by-four with factory PTO driven winch. It has a title and runs but as a complete pile of rust, somebody could use the drivetrain at the least, put a 2-wheel drive body on it and you have a cool rig. Keep up the great work and the cool videos 👍✌️🇺🇲

being he is not that old of a guy,he Inherited most, if not all of it when his dad died and has no (hard) money of his own in it.those people always want gold for silver prices and will just wait it out as they dont have no money into and dont have to sell anything.just by the way the cars are stored,he has a lot of money when his dad died.

We have a 55 2 dr handyman. What is nice about it . There isnt all that hard to find very expensive chrome and stainless that a nomad has. And Its simply a lot of fun to get it out and play with.

I'm 76, my high school years were '62-'65, the mid '50s Chevys and Fords were low budget rides that we could buy anywhere, in GREAT condition, for 300-700 bucks... I never dreamed back then, when these cars were as common as intersections, that I'd see the day when "hunks of junk" would be so treasured. We saw the "Cash for Clunkers" program in 2009 destroy untold thousands of cars that would be desirable today, it's sickening to think of the cool stuff that was scrapped for the WW2 effort... My best friend in high school had both a '55 Chevy convertible and 2 door sedan that his folks had hauled off to the junk yard while he was in the army in the later '60s...

I buy and sell everything and i find that first time sellers or someone who has never bartered before are a pain in the ass. That guy selling the cars looked clueless about the business end of it. Sellers who want top dollar are a waste of time. Send it at auction, sell to the neighbor or online but don't waste my time.
