Your neighbor isn't an idiot. If my neighbor, a man with professional tools and a professional ability to use them, wants to locate & mulch the property line for free, I know I wouldn't say anything but "Sure, absolutely, do as much as you want!" I'm glad you are expanding on your dream, Chris. Watching the development of the farm has been fun, and this new installment looks to be the same.

This is the only piece of equipment I think Chris has a problem running. The cutter runs off the machines hydraulics so it kills the flow when you move anything while the cutter is running. That means when you move the machine you need to wait for the cutter to speed back up. He's accustomed to go hard and fast to get the job done and this cutter on this machine requires the operator to go a little slower than what he's used to. He has mastered everything else and I have no doubt he eventually get the hang of this. I think if he had the door open on the cab where he could hear the cutter better it would help him a lot.

CHRIS- go see Andrew Camarata's latest video. He bought a mulching attachment, but with flail type cutters. But it has a really cool 'half thumb' on the back, the side that faces the mini. So if he wants to simply move some of the larger logs rather than mulch it all, he can pick it up with the thumb (he has a mechanical fixed thumb) and it works great!!
@tedc77142 жыл бұрын
Yea make it so you can tun alongside the fence and spray under the fence every year or two. A fence with stuff grown up in it is a pain. Bush hog your side now and then at least. Thinking ahead. Turn some goats in their for awhile .. They will thin the little saplings.... Cows ruin timber ground .. Cause rot in the base of trees. Trample roots. They need shade but don't get much good out of woods. Goats dont hurt much. They eat briars and weeds even when there is good grass.,,kinda fun to have around. Glad you got some more ground. Feels as good as money in the bank.
