The fallen eagle mod for ck3 is the best ck3 roman empire mod out there! I've been lucky enough to get early access to it and so today we look at ck3 hellenism as we play as Julian the apostate. We shun history as we clamour to try to keep the empire together as it attempts it's best effort to tear itself apart. CK3 Rome has never been so chaotic!

Fun Roman Fact: there was a type of bread they used to make in ancient Rome "panem incommodium". It consisted of two loaves placed in the oven very close together, so that when they baked, they would expand, and merge into one mass. It was this Roman custom which inspired Laith's hairdresser.

Hello, I really like the map that this mod uses. Is there any way for the map to also be available in vanilla? The current one that AncientConqueror has uploaded is only for the paper map and not for everything else in the mod. It's really good

It's worked for them in the past. Wars against an external foe are a really good way to draw attention away from internal issues. The trick is to win them quickly and have something to show for the effort so that the populace has something to celebrate.

To expand upon this, they essentially believed that the Holy Spirit was begotten (or let's just say created because the meaning of "begotten" is complicated in this context) by the Son, and thus subordinate to the Father and the Son, which, according to the First Council of Nicaea, is a heresy.

Small tip for you Laith: To prevent yourself looking around like a madman for the rally points, you can easily access them from the military menu (hotkey F3) at the bottom. Save yourself some stress!

Fun Fact, the Romans did actually press pretty far into the Sarah desert, also. There was a statue of Roman Emperor Augustus that was stolen by the Nubians, and the Nubian Warrior Queen proceeded to wage war against the Romans after they REALLY wanted to take it back. They won like 2 or 3 battles, and lost everyone else, got a lot of there cities obliterated, capital sacked, but for some reason she wrote the emperor directly with her demands, and for an unknown reason, Augustus just.... Accepted them all. That statue would have its head removed, and placed underneath a staircase so that everyone going into the temple would symbolicly be stepping on the head of the greatest (or second greatest if you're more of an Aurelian fan) emperor of Rome.

Nice video! Just a minor correction: Julian didn't fight Constantine the Great - after all, he was only 6 when Constantine died. Julian rose up in rebellion against Constantine's son Constantius II.

A really big what if for some, but Imo even if he implemented the reforms it would've been to late to stop the rise of Christianity, and his further campaigns on Sassanid Persia would have only increased the hostilities, emptied the treasure and caused further deestabilization of the Eastern border...

It is day 143 since I asked you to do the challenge with Croatia in VIC 3 but in one of the videos, a good person named Andraip (Thanks for all the help) said it has a few flaws so it's time to correct them. So when you start playing as Croatia you have 15 years to get your independence, after that you cannot ally, get in a defensive pact, and you cannot be under any kind of protection and you must rival these powers as soon as possible: Austria, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Ottomans, and all nations from the Italian boot. You also must embargo all those nations and cannot enter their custom union nor can they enter yours. You cannot be in an alliance with any of the top 10 nations, including a defensive pact custom union, or protectorate, but you can trade with them. AI must be put on the default settings in case it isn't. If you ally let's say Portugal, and later on they get into the top 10, you must break the alliance. You also must stay monarchy all the time. Form the Danubian state with Croatia following these rules. (FYI incase I didn't make it more specific, you cannot join anybody's custom union you must always at all times have your own market)
