oooo that Godot environment looks sick. Kind of has a serious Sam look to it with the water and bright sunlight. Serious Sam first encounter has a really cool look to it, the outdoor areas especially. Second encounter had better interiors I think, but the exteriors in 1 really sparked my sense of wonder.

This is a comfort game for me even though I only started playing it a year or two again. It's just such a simple and fun gameplay loop with a surprising amount of depth. Running around throwing scythes at people is surprisingly chill. If only using the explosive shotgun didn't crash the game

Awesome water shader, looked almost like planar reflections, really well done perspective corrected cubemaps, and those detail textures are crisp and great!

Hey, David! I'd love to talk to you about what you're doing with Godot. I might be able to give you some good advice, since I'm quite experienced with it. I've been working with it for many many years making FPS games, currently I'm making an MIT-licensed online FPS game that will hopefully become a nice basis for other people's games etc. The game/framework is called Liblast, it has it's own YT channel.

I'm sure you can let go of cats to distract dogs around. Or just let them go and they will run around. The sad thing however is that when you drop a cat it'll always spawn with the same color, while picking up these cats each one has a different "livery" to it. Unless RWS fixed this within the last half a decade :P EDIT: Whoa, the fixed the cat color bug!!
