As always, you look beautiful today. I am so excited that you will be trying Drug Store Products. After seeing others use drug store products, that look great, I started buying some of them. I now realize how crazy it is to spend so much money on an eyeliner, blush, etc, when drug store dupes look just as good. However, I will probably always stick with my Ester Lauder foundation. I have been well pleased with Milani, Loreal and Maybelline products I have purchased. You have beautiful eyes and I enjoy it so much when you show us how you do your eyes. The Hello Halo is the best liquid highlighter and I use it every day!. I also love their liquid eye liner it's perfect for me! It goes on so smooth and stays all day! I love the Charlotte Tilbury Setting spray. They say it's the best and I agree!! Great video Melissa!

Thank you for these tutorials Melissa. I am 61 and have only recently learned how to apply eyeshadow through KZbinrs like yourself. I only wear it though for special occasions. Love that foundation and I'm one of those people who love the smell. LOL I know many don't but I do. I've been wondering about the palette but the last thing I need is another eye shadow palette. A true setting spray should seal the makeup so it last until you want to take it off. A good spray will also take away any powder or cakey look. I have several I like but it's more because of the scent than it is the actual setting power. I feel MAC Fix+ Spray is still the best for taking away the powdery look. You look lovely. Wet N Wild is hit or miss with some products. They do make the foundation in a dewy formulation. I've not tried their eyeshadows. I like the Catsuit lipgloss vs the liquid lipstick. I like their highlighter. And their setting sprays tend to be quite forceful. Happy Valentine's Day my dear, sweet friend. 💝💘💗

I think I would like that lipgloss better. I did like the color on this, but I kept wanting to lick my lips because they felt dry. That highlighter is really nice. Your makeup looks beautiful. I never use Wet n Wild products. I did have a couple of gel eyeliners years ago. I really liked them. They went on smoothly. I also had some gel lip liners which I also liked. Other than that I don’t bother with the brand. The foundation looks really pretty on your skin. Looking forward to you reviewing other brands. Such a pretty look on you Melissa. I'm so done with wet 'n' wild though since they started selling in mainland china. Loved them when they were cruelty free but they're not any more and there's plenty of other products that are. I'm a pet owner and animal lover and I cannot financially support a company that allows it's products to be tested on animals. The only reason I watched is because it's you and I love how you do your makeup. Honestly even without the makeup you look like you're in your early 50's. Have a great valentines.

Actually all ingredients have been tested on animals before use. Cruelty free companies are using ingredients that were tested by other companies. From what I understand from cosmetic chemists, animal testing on cosmetics is very rarely done nowadays because it’s so expensive, and it’s not popular. Most animal testing is pharmaceutical testing. I support L’Oréal because they have the money to do research into non-animal testing. Also, I believe China has been convinced by the bigger cosmetic companies to not test. I’m not trying to change your mind in any way, everyone has to make the choice best for them. But you can be an animal lover and not buy CF.

I'm sure they don't miss my custom alone but if enough people do it then hopefully they'll cop on. The don't NEED to sell through stores. They can sell direct to the consumer in China without having their products tested on animals.

I know I don't use cruelty free brands, but if they claim to be cruelty free, shouldn't that be the case? This is so confusing! this is what is says on their website: We're 100% Cruelty Free. wet n wild NEVER tests on animals, and we are super proud of this. We never have, and we never will. We believe in beauty without cruelty first! None of our furry, feathery, or scaly friends were harmed in the making of our products. I don't understand how they don't get fined or something for making this claim!

Hi Melissa lol to the full face of makeup to clean the house. I wear old comfy clothes and a bare face for that type of day - makes me feel a bit lazy lol. Truthfully though as I have rosacea and eczema, I only wear makeup when I'm leaving the house and give my skin a rest when I'm home all day. In Scotland we only got Wet and Wild a couple of years ago and truthfully a fairly small selection at that. I haven't tried that much from them, but I did try an eyeshadow palette. It was ok - the mattes were fine, but I too thought the shimmers were chunky and had a lot of fallout. Spraying the brush with a setting spray helped a bit, but they're not my favourite either. I liked the Elf shadows a little better, as well as both essence and catrice (all of which are a similar price point here). I also thought they were very dark toned palettes with very few pale shades for blending. Overall not a favourite for me either unfortunately. I think they make a more hydrating version of the foundation, if that one was a little chalky for you (without the paint smell). The complexion products available here have a limited shade range and don't run light enough for me. Interesting video though it hasn't made me want to run out and buy anything tbh. You looked great as always and I hope you had a good Valentines Day.

I use the eye primer and the highlight, I think they are excellent. The banana loose powder is good, but I like the Flower Beauty Light Illusion pressed powder best. I also like their mascaras. It’s a pretty look!

Hi Melissa!! You look beautiful in the makeup. I started wearing Wet n Wild in about 1984. Back then it was very cheap and I was in high school. I still love the lipstick because I have little lips and it makes my lips fuller for some reason. Mauve Outta Here is a great pink lipstick color that I used by them. I have been using the setting spray since the mask mandate here and it kept my makeup on good. I also use the highlight. When you get to the bottom of the highlight it is not as strong as it was on the top. I would love to try the foundation and eye shadow primer. Thank you for a great review. I really like your green top and earrings. Your red top is very pretty, especially with the gold hoops. I liked your eye look at first, but later it looked worn off and I didn't like it. I wonder if it looked worse because of the lighting later on, too. Plus I was worn out, and probably rubbed my eyes some while I was working. but I put it through the test for sure! lol. I do like that highlighter. I am interested in the NYX sticks - one of the colors in particular. I am really going to try to go through them over the course of time. Good review. I tried a Wet N Wild eyeshadow about 4-5 months ago and basically had to throw it out and I don't throw out anything. It was everywhere, chalky and alot of fallout. I couldn't get over the paint smell of the foundation. I haven't tried anything else but those were the two I have. The colors are pretty though. I just think with my 58 year old skin, it's too dry to use some of their products.

Somehow I have a small 12 colour palette of warm winter eye shadows by W & W - it isn't sold in shops in Australia so how I have it who knows.However it blends really well and the colours well pigmented so I try and give it some use. That was a mix of outcomes in your video and I so enjoyed seeing these products put to your test. X.

That primer is good, but if you want a fantastic tinted moisturizer that wears all day without getting patchy you might try the tinted hydrator. It’s around $5 or $6 and it is beautiful. There are a lot of great reviews on KZbin. I am oily in my t zone and it works well with my skin. It’s like magic by providing just the right amount of coverage without looking cakey.

Good Morning Beautiful!! I’m afraid that eyeshadow palette would have been flung across the room…. Lol. It’s so frustrating to go for a certain look and something to throw it off … 😡..lol I Love the foundation…. This is just on my skin but this foundation looks it’s best it I use a pore blurring primer in my t-zone and instead of primer use extra moisturizer or even a light oil on the rest of my face… I don’t think you have pore issues so you could do that on your whole face…I have repeatedly bought that foundation… I honestly can’t remember if I liked the dewy version… hmmmmm 🤷🏼‍♀️ You look beautiful… your eye look came out so pretty! With Wet n Wild it is hit or miss. I have a palette that has beautiful colors but it is NOT pigmented and you have to rub your skin off just to see the color. lol I will say Wet n Wild White Paint Pot is most excellet. I have gone through 2 already. I thought all in all you did look beautiful but then again...You are beautiful so you just made the makeup look good! tfs with us girlee

Hi Melissa, The Wet N Wild make up looks pretty on you on camera, but if the eye shadow has glitter fallout and the lipstick is very dry I would not wear it. I used to use Painterly paint pot all the time - but haven't used any kind of eye primer in a couple of years. Think I might try this one - did it cover discoloration on the lids? I do use a setting spray, but I always use powder, and for me the spray softens the look (I use the Elf one - and have for years). Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

I have one of those 10 pan palettes from W&W and I love it. I can't remember which one it is but it has a gorgeous deep brown/raisin/deepest burgundy color. I don't think mine has a glittery one but I'll have to look. Finishing spray sets your make up so it will stay all day, but there are better spray nozzles that spray in a fine mist. What I do sometimes when there are very glittery shades, I put a piece of scotch tape over it so it doesn't get all over. 😁❤

@Melissa55 the palette name is Nude Awakening and yes! 😱 it does have a glittery one but I can tell that I don't use that one. In fact, I think a couple are glittery, but the glittery ones make my eyes burn so I don't typically use them. I love foiled ones though or shimmer. Btw, another tip, which you may already know, is for the inner third of the movable eyelid when I want it to be lighter and really "pop" I used either a very light (almost white) concealer on a small flat brush to carefully "paint" that part in. Then put my shimmer or foil over it. Works so much better. There's also another product-LA Girl Pro Matt Pigment - it's a mixing product to lighten (or darken) shades of products or to use as a base. And it is pure white. Love that. They have a couple of other shades too but I haven't tried them.

I love using the setting spray in the white bottle. I spray it on a full soft brush and pounce it over my face. I found it better the. Any others I’ve tried.
