Used to be an unconventional, but ok choice on the KV-2, but now the T-150 exists. If you want to use the 107, use it on that, it's way better than a KV-2 as a general tank, the only reason to use a KV-2 is the 152mm sawn-off which it gets, but the T-150 doesn't (not joking, the M-10T 152mm tank gun is an M10 field howitzer with the end of the barrel cut off!)

@@LucyWoIf I am assuming you're saying WoT is lower quality. But I strongly disagree. The quality of War Thunder is actually so dogshit. It's riddled with bugs, half the models are released unfinished, the music is terrible and the map design is awful. Not to mention the terrible game mechanics and the fact that there's a cycle of overpowered vehicles with every new patch. The only thing WT has over WoT, is that killing people is more satisfying than in WoT. I've got over 6k hours in WT, and the only thing that has put me off WoT after no longer playing WT, is the amount of fomo in WoT, and that I just don't want to invest that kind of time in a game anymore.

World of tanks has a large marketing department for these sponsorships and the game is super hard and not fun for new players without any assistance from someone who actually has experience so wargaming gives them press accounts with everything in the game unlocked to just muck around with long enough to make an appealing video. WoT isn't a terrible game but it is NOT new player friendly (although it has made leaps and bounds of improvements recently) and most of the game is RNG based so you can get really unlucky and it's easy to get mad at the game. (I've played WoT for over 10 years)

I actually did use ramming tactics with the E50M back when I used to play WOT. If you could catch someone at the bottom of a hill and clang into them at full speed with the modules that reduce the damage you took when ramming you could take 500+ points of health off them without suffering too much yourself.

E50m is arguably the best tank in the game for ramming, good power to weight ratio, heavy, and thick armor.

Best tactic ever was before the physics patch in around 2014(?) when stationary tanks and wrecks couldn't be moved. You could take a platoon of three TOGs, park them sideways across the northeast passage on Pearl River and completely block that entire side of the map.

I'm sorry, I'm going through this and I don't recall you ever mentioning WoT before so I can only assume you're on a dev acc with full access, so there really needs to be a disclaimer that you've not played the game, for free, to get all these tanks on your own. This is sort of false advertisement in a way, because this is NOT what this game is like. It is a painful struggle, and there is only fun at the 1-5 range where you're still advancing at a reasonable pace. After that, it's being under gunned and under powered 99% of the time. Got about five minutes in and I sort of said "This is not what the game is quite like. There is no fun here, only suffering."

May I remind you that games are made to have fun? If you are in a state of a painful struggle, you are doing something wrong. WoT can be enjoyed, just don't get yourself caught up in the idea that you MUST go to battle on THIS tank, that you MUST go on THIS branch of the research tree. Have fun for once, get some enjoyable early tanks of III or IV level, make upgrading into a hobby, not a routine task.

I play it myself, have been playing it for ten years now, I have only advanced to IX, because I didn't feel like grinding anything for years at a time. The game is genuinely fun to play, you just need to not ruin it yourself.

Seeing a Matilda "Black Prince" made me want to die, especially knowing that the Black Prince was a Churchill with a 17pdr and that turret they slapped on is that of a Cromwell. Also, wrong KV-2. That's the 107mm ZiS-6, not the actual KV-2 with the 152mm M-10T.
