@@im_Tsu Having hit the end of the story and coming up against the limits of the content, there is one aspect of the game that people do say is bad... ... That there isn't more content!!! But really, that's a good problem to have, that the demand outstrips the supply. But its also a bad problem in the longterm when demand outstrips supply to long and now we're into quality of supply issues because people are over-levelled and Hard Mode doesn't provide the narrative people come for.

I've been playing around 6 months now, a friend recommended Nikke to me around the time Red Hood was the newest character, he said I'd probably really enjoy it so I decided yeah sure I'll download it for a day and see what I think and honestly he was absolutely right. The story has been fantastic and I too listen to the music pretty much daily! It's definitely a game I see myself continuing over the next few years though maybe it's one I'll avoid checking into while at work~ The other reason I decided to try the game was cause of Stellar Blade, a non gacha game from the same developer and let me just say they absolutely nailed it there too. I highly recommend trying that game out as well!

Started playing about a week after launch due to my friend talking about it and expected to drop it after a week like most gachas I have played before...only to fall in love with everything about it (and make my friends hate it because it was all I talked about for months lol) I agree with pretty much everything here, though I disagree with calling it an idle game since there's points where manual play is basically required (boss rings and late game stages)

I think in NIKKE, the Idle part is coming from the fact that we just Idle the Game for collecting Materials in Outpost Defense, not from the battle itself. Admit it, that we just waiting for around 12 to 24 hours until we can collect Materials from that place.

Come for the PLOT, stay for the plot. The main story is like a tree, and the event stories are the branches. Like the Nikke I hate and love: Dorothy. We know her in the main story with evil face and action. But in the Overzone, we know the reason why she is what she is in the present time. And in the Red Ashes, we know her deeper at the beginning: cold hands but a warm heart. Storytelling in Nikke is always top 1 in my heart.

The story is amazing, better than most games. They drop OST bangers every month. They bring the characters to life in a way where you care so much about them that fanservice almost becomes a secondary thing. The structure of the game is really nice and convenient. The gameplay is pretty good but I’d say it’s carried by all of the above elements and is supported by a pretty addicting gear progression system.

@@rigelothello709 yup also Ark Re:code very niche gacha game also similar treatment the full H version is on the browser/pc laucher version compare to Nikke it's more into a standard ecchi fanservice tier, Nikke may looked too much in the marketing but once people try the game it felt like its mostly basic jiggle physics and wont be even as close as borderline H kind of fan service where its more dynamic and more distracting close up shots of busty waifus on the screen

Nikke is absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. I was looking for a casual fanservicey gacha game to play while waiting on content updates on my main gachas (these days it's HSR and ZZZ) and it's a perfect game for that. It strikes the perfect balance between casual but also having some slightly harder content where manual play and certain mechanics need to be thought about. Amazing music, visuals and stories and collecting hot women and progressing through the leveling are really fun

You forgot the important Synchro Device which is one of the most gacha friendly feature where you dont have to worry about spending more resources leveling a new nikke when you already have a high level team

Man, i remember when i played it when it first came out. Was really fun and saved up a lot of gems for a new character when it came out. Was the sniper sailor chick (forgot her name), and blew all of it (30k+ i think) trying to get her and didn't get her. I think this was before the Pity was implemented (if there is one now)? But yeah, I quit after that, knowing how terrible the rate for SSR in here is. Is it now easier to get cash currencies as a f2p? Oh, and i guess also the lvl cap where you be stuck unless you get a dupe to increase the lvl cap. that part is kinda dumb.

i think nikke excels in alot of things such as events music and character designs however it lacks in other things such as interesting gearing system lackluster pvp and lack of things to do outside of events. basically you log in do dailys and log out and just wait for next event which is sad because i would love to have something i can grind for or achieve but there is nothing there sadly hope they can add things later but dosent seem like they will.

8:05 "game is simple" 30sec later shows bosses that at high level interception EX cannot be beaten by casual players without heavy manualing and having good aim LOL... i mean, yes, the Daily Grind of Nikke can be beaten with some Auto and some Manual here and there, but once u try to be more competitive and try to reach higher Ranks (mainly in Solo-Raid) u need to Manual, heavily, but that would be for the more competitive players who cares about META and score high numbers in the Rankings, casual players only care about Waifu Collection and dont mind AUTOing everything even if they are stuck for weeks, or even months for some ultra casuals, in a normal stage of the campaign.

@goldenshower6644 That clip was just auto'ing Solo Raid 7. That said everyone seems to be upset about me saying the game is "easy" and pointing out how it can be hard...in the late game. Early on its a super simple game. Like ZZZ and the TVs, that might cause people to leave before the game fully gets rolling. I feel the same about NIKKE. Just auto'ing everything for weeks/months until you can start raiding may turn off people.

I don't wanna be that guy, but I'm just gonna be the one to type it down. Team building is a little more complex than what You described and there are cooldowns to each nikke partaking in burst rotation. As to idling the combat, most cases: Yes, end game content... Well You showcased a little of Mirror Container fight. Good luck not failing in 1st 30 seconds on challange mode, with auto combat on. The story mode should be a breeze for You too. But just try and go through hard chapter 17 on auto. I dare You :) (just guessing You should be there given Your CP)

@@TheZarrahid I got her and summer Sakura, and the 2 of them carried me through a LOT of campaign levels, but eventually Sakura got benched. I also have summer Anis and Aquamarine Helm as well. Helm I have at LB level 2 because the game gave me 3 copies in one multi pull. The only 2 I don't have is the summer Neon (she's trash so meh) and the Summer Mary. I skipped Mary cause she's a decent healer but most of her skills only benefit other water based Nikkes, or it benefits all but the water units receive 2x the buff/heal amount

I just recently quit the game, because of overload gear... I can't get the specific pieces I need to finish building my units. In my case it's pilgrim attacker boots. It's been 3 months or so since I last saw that specific piece. Say whatever you want about E7's gearing system, but at least there you can get a decent piece pretty easily.

There is a wall at the level of 160, to break it, u need 5 chars with 3limit breaks. Is saw some players struggle with that, but most of those dont play frequently or tried to collect everyone and didnt focus. This game is super generous with the amount of tickets and gems u get, with the mold system, the ticket system and all system combined with the wishlist on the normal banner. You will break the 160Wall propably before u hit that level if u pull smart and first pull for dupes before u try to collect everyone. I broke the 160 Wall when all my units where still around level 140 and i did that even without the free MLB SSR they give out on half or full year annyversary. So its rly not a problem. in 3 Month we have the 2anny, at that time they will threw out ticktes like candy again, propably again 150+ with a free MLB SSR Nikke. With that, its is rly no problem at all.

@DeaDaR03 Not really. The game wants you to have 5 SSRs with 4 copies each by level 160. Events have been steadily giving out a SSR with 4 copies for events along with other items to help patch this up. Not the best system but other games in the same space (Idle Games) share a similar problem. It's probably the biggest gripe others have had but I didn't experience it at all... maybe I'm lucky.

this game is the WORST for new players, also this game has the WORST progressions and DEMANDING SO MUCH to be able to finish the main story, yes this game has good sound track, fan service, butts and physics, BUT in order for you to finish the main story you will need to be SUPER SUPER strong and there is no skills involved or getting around it. I quitted the game at chapter 26, my team HAS to be over 250k POWER and that's if you have a SSS or SS team, you will need more if you have s or A tier teams, do you know what that mean, the game has 32 chapter and with chapter 1 to chapter 32 the difficulties increases which will take you SO LONG to level up SOOOOOOOO in order to finish the main story which is the best thing this game has to offer you will need to get stronger and stronger in order to be able to continue in the main story, and you will reach a point when you hit a WALL either you HAVE to spend money and ALLOT of it to be stronger OR you will play the waiting game, if you decide to play the waiting game you will forget what happen in the last chapter. at chapter 26 you need be over 250k POWER which mean you need to reach over level 200, all your 5 team members has Over Load gears, skills to be over level 7 and to limit break over 2 stars, this requirement will take you over 5 to 7 month to achieve and guess what this is only chapter 26, and for chapter 27 you need to be over 270k Power and so on. Lastly, DONT play this game, watch the main story on you tube and save your self the agony of what this game has to offer for the new players.

Because the game is still an idle game by its nature lol Like, there's an accumulate system for materials, that's telltale sign that this is an idle game so yes, you WILL be playing the waiting game Also, saying there's no skill involved is objectively wrong. People have been clearing stages on deficit using the correct team comp and/or right tactics ever since the game started, it's only impossible to progress if the deficit is too high to the point of unplayable, which is definitely not a big problem since most games will make you hit a wall at some point if you decide to rush things. The new player experience has been way better ever since 1.0 and 1.5 recently. They lowered the overall combat power for campaign and changed the power calculating formula to make it easier for you to escape deficit. I'm personally guiding a friend in this game and he's managed to clear up to ch21 in 1 month, that's 2 years worth of main story content in 3 weeks without needing to worry about getting stuck at any moment. That's a lot of progress if you ask me. Sure, the game may be not for you because you can't clear it in 2 weeks or something and that's fine but you're exaggerating on its progression system as well as diminishing its skillful aspect due to your personal frustrations is not it, chief.

Though, I can tell you I got past the 160 wall around 6 months into the game with the help of the free 3* Rei. I'm not sure what you're getting at but getting to 26/32 chapters in 7 months is pretty good lol, especially when you consider that ch26 + 27 are such headaches with the introduction of the silence rapture.

Do you want a free core 7 red hood and core 7 modernia along with that to literally ignore the need to grind for materials? It's an idle game for god sake, it's literally built in a way that you will be playing the waiting game. Playing casual is fun. Events, music and story are especially great but after the fun part there are too much gacha system. Getting specific gear is random , gear upgrade item drop is random, gear stats are random , dolls maintenace is random . SSR drop rates from molds are rigged. Costumes are so cool but also expensive . If you can't spend certain amount of money per month, good luck cuz you gonna need it a lot more than other top tier gacha games. No pity system so you may need only 3000 gems or 60000 gems to get one copy of a event character .

You dont really need to spend money on the game thou unless you care about pvp. There is a Pity abliet limited system with mileage. Game is fairly f2p freindly, abliet the wall at 160 is the break it or make it moment for most.
