Yes, 10.30 is way too late if you're going to the wet market but it can open up to more promotions from the seller as they are packing up shop and need to sell off their remaining items. Suna, you could also check out "Pasar Tani" which is kinda like the farmer's market which is mostly open during the weekends in the morning. You'll find more choices for groceries and even more food options!

Usually people go for grocery early as 6 am in the morning..the most fresh pick vege and fruits from farm and always sold out before 8 am..

TTDI market is abit higher end. There are other markets like chow kit that sells cheaper more variety of fruits and seafood. Toufufa my place only sells for RM1.80 😁

mangosteen season similar to durian season. you can only find mangosteen during durian season... remember mangosteen peak season is in summer and runs from about April through August

We used to have Mangosteen tree everywhere, even on the side of road. Now, it's become rare. Hard to find, unless at commercial orchard.

The last part when you explaining about TTDI, its looks like you at Cheras/Balakong area. Are you living there? Sorry for asking because i also living in BTHO Cheras and rarely see Japanese living there and mostly Japanese living in Mont Kiara,TTDI area. I think maybe there are also Japanese living in Cheras without i realise maybe its due to Chinese and Japanese sharing the same skin tone.

@@sunamiinmalaysia not all mamak restaurants put it on the menu or have it at their restaurants but it's not uncommon. I at least knew about roti canal milo more than 20 years ago. it was on the menu of a mamak restaurant near my old place in ttdi. maybe it's a ttdi thing.

Mangosteen is a seasonal fruit. Once the season ends you can't get it anymore.
