I agree 100%. I see her as being like the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31: 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. 23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. 24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. ❤️

Thank you for sharing! It’s a lot of work to not only cook for your family and prep the food but the video, edit and post. I appreciate the time that you put in to do all of this. The two fruit you weren’t sure about the first one was rambutan you peel it and it has a white fruit on the inside that’s like a grape. The yellow fruit was dragon fruit or what’s known as Pitaya. Thanks again for your video!

The first fruit you pointed to with red tentacles is called rambutan It’s very similar to a lychee fruit that has a central large looking sweet white grape inside when you peel off the exterior skin. The big yellow/orangey fruit that had a protective white net style covering appears be a yellow dragon fruit. If it has spikes on it it’s dragon fruit. If it did not than it would appear like papaya. Most dragon fruit have red colour exterior skin but it looks like you found one with a yellow variation. The interior white flesh with black little seeds are the same both both. All those exotic fruits are very delicious and nutritious too. Beautiful job on your tu beshvat table. So appetizing.

I have to try making my baklava like you did yours! It looks so much easier and you got more servings than I do. I have been incorporating many cultures, holidays/feast/celebrations, countries in our various menus and use it not only as a reason to celebrate but to teach (especially our foster and adoptive children who haven’t been exposed to other society and religion and culture) it introduces new foods and new ideas. I enjoy every nut seed and fruit that you used. I like having them help me, most of the time. I can’t wait to use your ideas for the next Tu B’shvat! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and celebrations with us, teaching us!

I made your Baklava! It is delicious! I had to stop myself from eating a whole roll! Also, my daugher is gluten free, so I made some with ONLY the nut filling (I used all walnuts", and I just shaped them into mini logs. No gluten. :)

The small red fruit with the hairy spikes is called Rambutan. It is a fruit that is native to Southeast Asia. It’s very delicious. You just peel the same way as an orange and inside is white flesh and a seed. Just eat the white flesh and it’s sweet. I’m happy to see you have it along with other fruits. My mom is from Thailand and my dad is American. I come from a half-Jewish/Christian background.
