I am back for the millionth time expressing my love for Tuna Tataki 😋 EVERYONE has a delicacy type food the treat themselves to. Sometimes they go to a restaurant, or they make it at home 🏡. I have been on a Tataki kick for a month ,so I am doing both. Most people in their right minds wouldn't pay the money a dish of tataki costs. The problem is portions. Atleast around,in my neck of the woods, this dish sets you back $10.-$18. It would absolutely be worth it if they gave you more. Anyway, last week I made a decision to make it at home from now on. I found out I can do a better job,not only the tuna part, but the bed of garnish I make for it which is skinned baby cucumbers, sliced very thin and marinated in a home made vinegar, sugar ,Soy,red thai chili sauce and seasoning. 👌🤌👍

Hola me encantan sus videos, una duda, se pueden hacer esos carpachos con atun congelado? o necesariamente tienes que ser atun fresco. En mi pais es algo complicado encontrarlo fresco. Hello I love your videos, a doubt, can you make those carpacos with frozen tuna? Or you must necessarily be fresh tuna. In my country it is somewhat complicated to find it fresh.

Very nice. I knew you were going to straighten out the last piece of tuna at the end. LoL! I think though, that like David G says, you kinda buried the presentation under too much garnish. The petal like arrangement of the tuna was very pretty. I have also always wondered why you don't use cast iron skillets? I love my cast cookware. It's pretty indestructible. I just want to know your opinion on it. See you next time!

I first tasted this dish at "Jade Asian" Restaurant on Woodbourne Rd. and Bristol Oxford Valley Rd . in Levittown. Pa. When they first opened all I was familiar was. Traditional Chinese/Japanese/ Thai American cuisine but Ricky ( manager) turned me on to a appetizer called tuna tataki and I absolutely love it. Jade Asian Restaurant is an awesome place. Go there if your 30 minutes away. They are much better then any cocka roach infested place in center city Philly. BTW GO EAGLES GO NICK FOLES GO WENTZ AND GO 2ND IN A ROW SUPERBOWL CHAMPS !omitted

Loved the Beef Tataki; but I used Deer meat as a substitute and served chilled. Has become one of my favorite ways to prepare Vension. This Tuna version looks great; but almost impossible to get quality Tuna in the heartland ( Kansas) without paying a fortune. Your vids give me great ideas and how too instructions and the importance of presentation; Thank you.
