Sorry, could you make a small vid of a segment in the round with 2 diff colored yarn? Thank you
@amberleitao47273 жыл бұрын
WOW!!! This is just so so beautiful!!! You could do SO MANY things with this stitch just by changing the yarn as well. A beautiful hat, scarf or cowl... I bet you could even do mittens. Or using a more sturdy yarn and a variegated color way you could make amazing place mats and table dressings for the fall or spring... or different sized baskets for organizing in the home... or with maybe crochet to thread something like a table runner... this is just STUNNING... thank you so so much for sharing and for the wonderful slow and detailed tutorial!

Lovely pattern, seems a loooot of work too. I could see this even as a scarf, always cutting the yarn on both ends, like in mosaic crochet, then turning those loose ends into fringe. The cowl form looks great too. But working with multiple colours, like the background project, is definitely the way to go. The contrast just brings out the true beauty of this pattern.

That may be true, Dmitri. Then check my latest videos on how to work bicolour Tunisian crochet flat, without cutting yarn row after row ☺️

I can’t wait to try this lovely pattern! I wonder if a table runner would look nice? The two-colour in the round you showed is absolutely stunning! Looks like a cowl or perhaps boot toppers. So lovely.

What did you end up making from your project? I do not know if I can wait till I get to the center to do this. I may decide to add it in at three points of my lap blanket for the leaves are falling from our trees right now and I am doing it it fall colors and one row just may not be enough of this stitch. I am almost just too excited. THANK YOU!

Kind of new to this. Your pattern is beautiful. But I have a question please. If I want to practice two panels (for example) with 24+2, will I have 26 loops on the hook at any given forward pass? I’ve counted with other patterns to keep on track. Thank you in advance for your help.

Correct: when you work flat, always add 2 sts to the multiple of 12. 😊

I am here from the paid pattern. Do I skip the initial twisted dec along with the end stitch when doing this in the round? None of the rounds in the written pattern start with a twisted dec, but you state otherwise in this video and possibly in the notes. Do I do just one twisted dec for the round maybe? Do you have an example of this done in the round?
@HookloopsarahCrochet2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jess! This is the wrong video for the pattern you bought. You should look here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/maCXg4uOgs5gmq8. Did I put the wrong link in the pattern? 😳
@jesslich32 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I got myself all twisted in videos! You were correct with the link! I keep do keep missing a decrease in the written pattern, somehow I keep getting 46 stitches instead of 48 in my 2 repetitions of the third row! Will keep trying to see where I am going wrong! It is a lovely design, can’t wait to get it figured out!
@HookloopsarahCrochet2 жыл бұрын
@@jesslich3 If I remember right, the number of sts varies round after round, because of all the increases and decreases, so keep track of the design itself and see that it forms, that's the basic thing. Also, it may help to add st markers after each repetition, or in the middle of a leaf, to keep track of sts. 😊

I think it would be more understrandeble if you would have made a repeat of two. Especially with the double increase, that's just *** to do
@HookloopsarahCrochet Жыл бұрын
It might seem complicated at the beginning, but after repeating it some times, it gets easier and more understandable. ;-)
