I'm based in Melbourne and have been into the car scene for 20 years now, I've seen drifting come and go I've seen Silvia's and skylines go from being worth $40k down to $4k and now back up to $40k for a Rough example, I sold new cars for Nissan for 14 years and its safe to say I have NISSAN BLOOD running through my veins yet here I am being unable to afford the cars I once had which has turned me to becoming a "HONDA BOI" I have to say they are great cars I love learning about them and lets face it value for money they are ridiculously fast!
Check below to see my car resume:
*1991 Nissan Pulsar N14 SSS- 118kW not raced
*1996 Nissan Silvia S14 200sx -220kW 13.0@109mph
*1990 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR- 350kW 12.0@118mph
*1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GTR- 520kW 11.0@127mph
*2015 Nissan Pulsar C12 SSS- 200kW 14.0@104mph
*1998 Honda Civic EK sedan TBA-TBA stay tuned I want this baby to run a 10 second pass

Can I ask how much they charged u to make that patch harness ? I got quoted $2700 just in labour to install / wire an elite 750 in my car.

Who was that from? I paid the cost of the haltech and loom was made up by sm motorsport wiring for around 1300

@@TURBOTRISTO $1300 for the harness alone, or does that include the HALTECH?

You've done so much on this build already. It still blows my mind what you can do on a budget with hondas. I like the haltech sticker in the centre to cover the mark.

Helo brotha i am geting ready to install a fully built engine into my tacoma and i have a heltech ecu and a full wire harness all finished its basicly plug and play but this is my first time doing something like this and i want to know is that if i have the heltech harness all hooked up, do i have to take my old oem ecu out ? Does my oem ecu control my light switches or starter or brake light etc. Let me know if you can help thankx !

I’m not the best person to ask , the best thing about owning a haltech is customer support haltech with answer the call log in to the ecu and help get the car set up and started, they are very friendly and helpful, Most factory cars have a seperate loom so that the lights and gauges are on one set of fuses and wiring loom and the engine has a seperate harness, that’s why there is usually two fuse boxes,

Hey Tristan, im in the same predicament with ECUs for the y4. Looks like the p28 OBD1 conversion for hondata is out the question due to the headache involved. Haltechs are pretty dear, got any suggestions of other standalone ECUs which are a bit more affordable?
@TURBOTRISTO
@TURBOTRISTO 4 жыл бұрын
Fokir Alomgir you can use a haltech elite 550 they are closer to $1000 or you can use autronic or adaptronic or link there are heaps of options but check with your tuner or workshop
