i used one cutout 3 inch to kill air to my turbo and shut my old cummins down cheaper than a manual giotine shutoff

So these are just to make it loud? No dyno test with them on? They are supposed to be installed right off the headers, not at the tail pipes. Either way, did they make more power or less?

My car was tuned with them open. The only reason I have them closed is when I’m pulling into my neighborhood or I’m at a track that has a decibel limit.

Yeah! Actually, after further inspection of the one that didn’t work, it was only because the wire melted. As long as you use good heat trouts over the wires, they hold up.

Well, they work just fine lol. As long as the wires don’t melt. Haven’t since I did heat shielding
