bilgilendirici bilgiler paylaşıp dilimizi yazmanız beni çok mutlu etti ve çoğu yabancınında bunu öğrenmek için çabalamasıda gururumu kabartıyor.

A very helpful tutorial would also be one explaining when 'e' is pronounced differently than 'eh' (like in "erkek")

I think Azerbaijani has 2 letters for this which is a shame Turkish doesn't
@tazaoumur
@tazaoumur Жыл бұрын
@@hanifleylabi8628 Turkish does not have two letters because the pronunciation of E depends on the openness of the syllable, which may change in the context, e.g.: gelir - geldi (which is therefore gelir - gældi). The other reason is that not all the speakers differ its pronunciation. Correct me if there is a mistake, because I'm not Turkish myself.

@@tazaoumur yep you'r right at the first one but pronunciation of open (ə) and close (e) are important. When it's mispronunced it irritates my ears lol. For example it's "mendil" not "məndil" or it's "pencere" not "pəncere"

Hi. Can you tell me something about diphtongs like ui, ua, ue? It seems there is a tendency to pronounce them like vi, va, ve. For instance, I have heard a turkish-speaking native pronounce "visible" as uisible, and "very" like uery. Are u and v similar or interchangeable in turkish in any way?
