@@tolga9097 my english is not enough to explain it. But I sure you ı am not trolling or something like that. I try to explain.why it is incorrect. We use "rica ederim" for polietly wishes. For example "Rica ederim lütfen biraz daha sessiz olun, burası kütüphane. " "Rica ederim kendinize iyi bakınız, öğünlerinizi atlamayınız" "Rica etsem bana şu tuzluğu uzatır mısınız?" ... Rica ederim is real gentlemen word :) it makes extreamly kindly sentences :). (i think ı broke my english :D) So why some Turks use this phrase wrongly for a answer to "teşekkür ederim" İ think it cause like this. -Bla bla bla Teşekkür ederim. + rica ederim bu meseleyi büyütmeyin. This is correct form. But they delete the after passage. -bla bla bla bu projedeki yardımınız için teşekkür ederim. +rica ederim Tahsin Bey kendi katkılarınızı da unutmayınız. This is correct form. Rica ederim means nothing. İt sens when it is front of a wish. And it makes this wish super polietly. I hope ı can explain it. İf your Turkish is good ı can explain in Turkish too. I wish someday I know english :) have a nice Day.

The thing you have to remember using the sağ ol is that it kinda underlines the social status at that exact situation, so you can’t say sağ ol to your relatives for example. But you can use it at the restaurant, or with people who serve you at the cafe, hotel etc (in this case it underlines your superior position as a client)

Great video. For some reason, online dictionaries only list variations of tesekkur(ler) as thank you. So I was confused when I never heard it being used by locals in istanbul, only by myself. I heard variations of sag (ol) often, but only now have I learned how to spell it with the help of your video.
