How do you know it's more relevant or true now than ever before? Were you even alive in 1976 when this movie came out? Most of the problems facing the world today, including our society's media obsession and our mass inability to discern the truth, are not new. They're old problems that have existed for generations. The only reason this seems more relevant or true today is because these problems have existed long enough for more and more people to notice that they exist, and as a result more people talk about it today, we're confronted with it more often than before. The only other thing that has changed about our relationship with media in the past 50 years is that we prefer a different medium now. And don't expect any of these long-standing problems that plague our society to be solved anytime soon. Lots of people have tried to address these issues over the decades, and every so-called solution that anyone's come up with has been either completely ineffective or only a temporary fix. Whatever the world looks like 50 years from now, mark my words they'll be grappling with many of the same problems that we have today and that people had when this movie came out. The generations that follow us will also point at scenes like this one and say things like, "This was never more true than it is now."

I've never seen the movie, but I always see this clip. Everyone told me he is shot by gunmen, but I only see him have a heart attack in the clip, so I am confused. Unless we are talking metaphorical shot as in TV shot by camera. IS there another version where you see someone shoot him or something?
